I wonder how much HP it'd get on a miniature dyno..

And maybe a robot could be built to work the pedals and transmission and be controlled from a remote control

You guys have never seen this? I guess I'm secretly too much of a geek for you all. I've known about this guy for about 6-7 years thanks to slashdot. He is amazing. There are so many unappreciated people out there like him. I've heard of telecommunications engineers manufacturing their own vacuum tubes to the exact resonating specifications that they made them back in the day (by hand).

This guy spent about 10 years just getting the gear box, linkage, transmission & drivetrain to work correctly! Insane that anyone could do this just off of photographs and visiting it real life.

he's not selling it...
he plans on making them in a limited quantity and selling them to enthusiasts. I don't blaim him considering how he spent so many years figuring everything out and now he knows how to integrate the building into an assembly line.

Maybe Ferrari can hire that guy to redesign the California convertible exterior from scratch. It is possibly the ugliest Ferrari in history. Terribly designed.
