Well, RX8 is sold...what next?
As the title says, my baby is on her way out
ATM, I will have just under $28k to spend and my choices are as follows:
Buy MS3 GT w/Navi
Buy MS3 GT and cheap dd/beater
Invest 25k, spend 2-3k on a DD beater (civic or leggy/imprezza) then buy new camaro when it comes out.
Any advice, opinions?
Thanks,
Sean

Yeah, I think that constantly, but Waiting 2 years isn't easy :/ Yes I know production starts feb 09 and they hit floors in march, but I am waiting for the next years model so they get most problems out.
No to vette, I want more than 2 seats and something new or almost new.

If you actually have 28k sitting around you should pick the car of you choice, put some money down on it, finance the rest, and then invest what money you have left over. If you invest well you'll make out much better than if you just buy a car outright. That is assuming you get a good interest rate...

Maybe the first year but the second year models won't be marked up. That is unless the car is a huge success, it will but not enough to carry the markup into the second production year, at least I hope Same goes for the challenger.

Those who do have a market adjustment may get lucky and sell them to foolish people, but most will pay extra by having those cars sit in the lots longer.
Also, my family is very good friends with the GM of Great American Chevy (in Hackensack, NJ) and I worked with the techs there. If there is a mandatory market adjustment, I will most likely get the retail price, like they offered me when the S/C SS first came out.
Hmm...seems that I'm ranting now.
O and an 02 M3 would be too old. I don't want an older car that will require non warrantied mantainence. May end up being difficult to afford while at college.

As for the challanger, my friend was quoted at 40k for an SRT8...IIRC, they included a 1 or 2k gas guzzlers tax
