Sweet. Very worthy replacement. All you guys and your new cars are killing me. I'm trying to hold off... trying...
It's the ugliness of the 135 that appeals to me. BMW 3-series (though they look good) are as common as any other car here. But that just usually gives you an excuse to mod the hell out of the exterior to stand out from the crowd. Nice set of BBS wheels to start off with...

I would really feel shortchanged with the 135. I wanted the larger backseat which is very comfortable for adults in the 335. A comparably equipped 135 is about $5K less than the 335 and look and lines of the 335 coupe are much more to my tastes.

I'd suggest crossing the STI off the list off the bat unless you value the extra storage space highly. As for the 135 vs. Evo, do you want the better track/drivers car or the better daily driver? Also, usable back seats and AWD during our winters a big a pluses in my book but may not be for you.

The 135i is not unique enough that it's ugliness = cool factor. It is not the Z3 M Coupe or Exige.

I think I'll be getting the 328i or 330i as my next car.
I really don't need the twin turbo 6 as I'll be going with an automatic next time, anyways. I'm sick of a stick in traffic.
I will probably buy a used one that's CPO for about 25k - I can get a 2007 330i w/ 22k miles for around $28,000, which would give me a warranty to 2013 and 100,000 miles.
By the way - I like the terra leather a lot, though I'd only buy a black on black beemer. It's the only proper color for a beemer, IMO.
