Im sorry that I offended you but STI's and Evo's are based on economy cars. They have nothing to do with sportscars.
They are not more sportcar than every other car in the price range.
You are saying that a STI/Evo are more sportscar than a 350Z, S2000, Miata.
You are CRAZY. Its not even as much of a sportcar as an Rx-8.
I sit here day after day and read your posts about how the rx-8 sucks and doesn't stack up to any other car in the world. Well sooner or later you have to sit back and look at what you drive. Again, STI and EVO make great rally cars and im sure they are fun to drive but they are not sportscars, they are based on economy cars and that is a fact.

Maybe you should go make up some more nonsense about how bad the STi tranny is, or talk about your RX-7 that we're all so sick of hearing about.

Post after post you talk bad about the rx-8. you give backhanded compliments, meaning you say something that is decent then in the next sentence rip on it. I dont have to find proof everyone on this forum knows about it.
If you want to say the STI and Evo are about sport thats your choice, but at their heart they are econo boxes. I find it funny that you left out the SRt-4, so I guess that car is an economy car in your book, but the EVO and STI are not?
And for what its worth I agree that the STI and EVO and especially the SRT-4 are great bargains. For the money they are an awesome deal. It just depends where you want to spend your money. With the Rx-8 you spend the money on a nicer car with better quality fit/finish and amazing balance/handling. The STI you you get a good handling, High HP HIGH TQ car, although it lacks in the refinement, fit finish and luxury catagory. Its all about choice.
Next, about my Rx-7, this IS a rotary board and I am free to talk about my Rx-7. Atleast I OWN an rx-8, whats your excuse for being here? I love both my rx-7 and rx-8, its just that both cars do something different for me. I feel fortunate to own both these amazing machines.

Blah blah blah. This kids is what we call a fallacy in logic, take note. One might also call it reeling.

I say that anything that can run a real track (not drag racing) and makes it in the top 20% of all cars for sale it is a sports car. Well ok whatever can put up a respectable track time. Really you have to go by the track definition, not by the 9s 1/4 schoolbus or by my lawnmower that can handle really well. I think it is a blend of those things that are exposed in track like conditions.
