Heh, I am all over the place with my previous cars, but have always lusted after a rotary, the 8 is that car.
The rest in chronological order (bikes not included):
1974 VW Super Beetle (Orange)
1979 4WD F150 (with custom wood bed, as the original bed fell off in a corner, rusted to hell)
1978 F100 (cost me 250 bucks and a pizza-true story)
1980 something Turbo Prizm (and I thought it was fast)
Break in here when I lived in South GA and only owned bikes
1988 Pontiac 6000 (300 dollars and a dent in the side big enough to park an 8 in)
1993 Mitsubishi Mirage (first new car, good salesman, bad idea)
1993 Miata (first taste of AutoX, ofc within 3 weeks of buying it, discover my wife is pregnant
)
1999 Plymouth Breeze (two weeks before delivery of my first, had to sell the Miata for it)
2005 Eclipse Spyder (my wife's, not mine)
2008 BB 6SPD Man GT RX8

91 Corolla, Toyota 4-Runner landed on the hood after being airborne
91 Corolla (nearly identical to the first) ran it into the ground and traded it for
02 Corolla well built, best year of the Corolla IMO, but engine blew due to defect, then crappy Toyota techs blew the tranny when re-installing it after rebuilding the engine... got tired of the service, junked it, sued them
99 Tercel (wife's, hated it)
02 Protege5 (current, trying to sell it)
06 Mazda5 Touring (Wife's current, if i have to drive a van at all... it isn't a bad one to drive)
05 WW GT Manual RX8 (stole it from the dealer for nearly 9k less than it is worth 2 weeks ago ... im in love ... there is no other)

last car was a 91 Nissan Primera which was an excellent car but the one before that was a Nissan Laurel . If you want the ugliest worst handling POS on the road that was it .
I used to use at as motivation - my work mates would laugh at it (and me I guess) . I knew however that I would soon leave work and make enough money to own an awesome car .
The thing that continually amazes me now is how people now think I'm rich because I drive an RX8 when most of them are in cars that cost the same anyway

Hmm, my last car was a Mazda 626, 2002. I wanted something faster and sportier. Thank god its sportier. Ok my stock 8 is a little faster but I am disappointed in performance, of course I didnt really read up to much before I purchased it either. Howver, this is my favorite care I have every owned adn I plan on keeping it forever. lol Now if I can just find ways to get it to be a bit quicker withour spending 5000k.....

Both my previous cars were 5spd chevy cavaliers, 96 and 97. Reliable cars with pretty good gas mileage. First one was totaled, bought second one, had it for about 2 years and then it met the same demise as the first. Used insurance money as a down payment on my 04 Winning Blue 6spd with appearance package and I don't mind the less impressive gas mileage at all

I had a few others but these were most significant...
1974 Ford Escort - 1.3 Ghia (I restored it for a year before I could drive and then scrapped it a year after I got my license. RIP)
1965 Ford Escort - 1.6 Twin Carb (wish it was twin cam)
1992 JDM Honda Prelude VTEC - striped, coilovers... my fav round tracks
1997 JDM Toyota MR2 Turbo - a true 245BHP - 220lb/ft in a light car
2006 Porsche Cayman S - I should never have bought a house
2007 Mustang - Rented this for 6months before I bought the RX8
