I've been driving a 1999 ZX2 S/R. It was a wonderful car. Had a good amount of power for a 4 cylinder of it's day, and it handled pretty well. I over reved it, and am selling it now.... It makes me sad, since we've had the car for about 8 years now.
Before that I drove an Escort RS2000 in England. It was a pretty fun car, but it was a bit of a beater. I also had a Mercedes 190E. Didn't really like that car much. It was a boat.
Before that, I had a 2002 ZX2, autotragic... Haha

First car I had was an 81 Accord hatch, 5 speed. A lot more fun than I expected and as my first car will always remember it. From there I went to:
85 CRX - my first "sports car" loved the wrap around interior and sporty feel, got me hooked on two seaters.
91 CRX Si - LOVED this car and wish I still had it. Would go to dealer lots just to look at them and finally was then able to get one years later. Much more complete than the 87, interior was awesome and great engine and handling. Loved the look and feel, put in a nice Eclipse CD deck and two 10" bazooka tubes. Good times! Sadly it was stolen twice and never really the same after that.
91 300ZX NA - As much as I loved the CRX, I always had a thing for Z cars and when the z32 came out my jaw dropped. Still have the Road & Track special issue you could order free in the mail. It was my "when I finished college I'm going to buy a" car, and I did. Still remember to this day when I picked it up from a dentist in CT. Black on Black, loved it.
03 350Z - The love affair with the Z32 was dying after many thousand miles of enjoyment. I drove it in the NE winter, put a lot of highway miles and thing started breaking and the car left me stranded a few times. I would have kept up the repairs but the Z was just reborn and I loved what they did with it. Went to Detroit to see the concept, then a year later to see the full production version and even got to ride in one before they were on sale. Bought a Performance model in 02 right when they came out, my first new car purchase. Loved it, the sound, the look and the handling even if was not as lively as previous cars (but much better than the Z32 though).
05 S2000 - After a lot of back and forth with Nissan North America and my dealer due to feathering and other issues I had with the Z, I decided to just cut my loses and get rid of it after only two years - I probably will not buy another Nissan product. This was unfortunate as I was really a big fan, joined the local Z club and even attended to Z convention and got to meet Mr Z himself. But, that lead me back to Honda and a little gem called S2K. The handling difference was noticeable, loved the sharp, go cart feel and revving it to redline as often as possible. Top down motoring was also amazing, even in colder weather.
09 RX8 - Adult life caught up to me and had my first baby girl in 09. After much thought I decided I couldn't keep the s2k, even if was a secondary car and we already had a "family" car. I needed to be able to drive my daughter if for whatever reason the other car was not available. Besides, I already had a sportbike as well and I did not want to give that up so one of the "toys" had to go. In comes the RX8, it suits my needs perfectly at the moment. Has sharp handling but with a bit more compliance and smother ride. Its also much quieter than the s2k. I have plenty of room in the back seat and getting the baby in and out is a breeze with the back doors. Plus I still get to rev the engine to redline just for the fun of it and get the tail to kick out to get big smiles just as I did before (while still carrying a stroller and other stuff in the trunk).

My previous car was a 2000 chevy malibu. I still have it, but passed it down to my younger sister who just got her driver's license. I still love my malibu because I spent a lot of time doing things to it. I sort of regret lowering it, because I ruined the ride comfort. I'm not a ricer btw, one of the springs broke and I thought "oh what the hell" and bought a set of eibachs. I did a few other things to improve handling and braking but after driving an Rx8, I realized that no matter what I did, it would never be a sports car. I still drive it on days when we get a lot of snow. It was my first car and I will always love it because it was always there for me, except for the two times I ran out of gas and when it started to overheat one day so I had to stop on the side of the road to let it cool. I plan on keeping my malibu for a long time.
