Who makes racing sequential manuals?
I'm looking for information on a racing sequential manual gearbox. And none of that paddle shift crap, a real one. I've tried searching google but all I get is **** about BMW's "formula 1 inspired revolutionary etc etc."
Not info on how it works, I'm looking for someone who makes them for sale.
Anyone here know of one?
Thanks,
-Falken

You can always try EMCO Gears. They make transmissions for every major race series here in the states. I know the GT RX-8's in the Rolex series run GT46 trannys. They are pricey though as I would imagine any type of sequential setup.

He's as bad as Can
The Renesis powered Diasio D962R has a Sequential trans. The Hewland 6-speed sequential FTR Transaxle to be exact. So looking into one that already fits the Renesis is a good place to start.

That's a actually a really great deal...especially for the tranny it is. If you want the best you gotta pay the price. Besides when you look at what cars use that transmission, Rolex GT cars mostly, that price is a drop in the bucket.

You know how when someone says "expensive" you have a general estimate, and than you have your "hah, well its not like its going to be $________ or something" price? Well for me that was $30,000.

Ok, I think it's time for me to start looking at cheaper alternatives to professional racing transmissions.
I need a way to shift faster, like track fast, but I'm kind of afraid of the paddle shifty trannys because I hear they're just guised manuals and have huge hydraulics that leech power from the engine.
Ferrari sequential might be cheaper?
