Honda. Formerly BAR. They had an amazing season last year when they finished 2nd in the contructor's championship. This year isn't as good, but Jenson made up for it when he had his maiden win as well as Honda's first win.

Has been a Ferrari fan since the days of Michele Alboreto and Gerhard Berger till now. Seems to me that Ferrari attracts supporters regardless of who is driving, while other teams depend more on their drivers' popularity. Must be a sentimental thing...

Honestly I support Ferrari coz I love the Modena, F430 and F40. If you ask me who I hope would steal top 3 teams thunder; I would say any team using a Toyota coz I really hope Toyota would go back into making performance sportscars scene and hopefully applying F1 tech to it.
Raikkonen: I hardly recognize him
Schumacher: I know his nose isn't straight, that's about it.

A pity to see Michael retiring but then also glad to see him retiring while still top of his game. Hope he doesnt retun a couple of years later and dilute his legend like Jordan did.

I agree, I've always believed Jenson Button and Mark Webber were always overhyped. Webber got really lucky and did well in the his debut GP in his hometown in an average car and everyone thought he was a start and put him in a good car.
The sad thing about F1 is how you drive depends on how good your car it.
I had no idea Michael Schumacker retired. I remember the years when he and Ferrari just dominated the sport, I also remember the year before he came on board when Ferrari made beautiful cars but were always a mid ranked team (the years with G. Berger)

I think Webber is overrated too, too bad Williams has like Nico down this year with all those mechanical problems. Hopefully next year is better, as Nico is a huge raw talent with the ability and drive to win championships

My favorite F1 team disappeared years ago... Benetton.
I know, I know, they kinda-sorta still exist in the form of Renault, but I never had the passion for Renault that I did for the old BF1 squad. I've always liked Fisichellla, going back to the time he was in the Benetton, but he's clearly over his head as far as fighting for championships goes (no matter who they replace Alonso with, I have little confidence that Giancarlo can decisively beat his teammate). I've something of a *bleah* feeling about Alonso... Fantastic driver, but he just doesn't "do it" for me.
In recent years I've been pulling for Ferrari, but mostly because Michael was the only thing keeping some of the drivers I dislike the most from winning (Raikkonen, Montoya). As he moves on, and Raikkonen takes his place, I will be pulling for basically anyone who can beat him. You ever see this guy's post-race press conferences? I think I'd have a more interesting conversation with my couch than I could have with him. That whiny, cracking girlish-voice drives me nuts, not to mention the way he fluffs up his driving suit to display the sponsors better. Do they put stiffeners in his driving suit before he goes on camera or something??
I've never liked McLaren. I think Alonso is going to regret his decision to move there pretty quickly... Think of how many times Kimi has been let down by the fast-but-fragile McLaren.
As for the rest of them? Hmmm... Williams could be interesting with the Toyota mill next year, and I've been something of a fan of theirs since Benetton sold out ('cuz of the BMW connection), but they've basically been nowhere since '97. That's a lot of years to be let down.
I really couldn't care less about most of the other teams, except for BMW/Sauber. If they can get their act together for real (as opposed to a single surprising showing at Monza, which I think flatters to deceive), they could really be a threat. The Japanese factory-owned teams can't seem to find anything approaching consistency even with all the yen they throw around. Then you've got the Red Bull squads and the hopeless Midlands/Spyker and Super Aguri teams. Aside from the fact that Torro Rosso has an American driver (for now), I find it hard to get remotely excited about any of the 4 teams at the back of the grid.

I dunno if I can be a faithful fan of the Williams squad with their new motors... I prefer to wear my old 2000-vintage blue-and-white Williams-BMW hat with the RS logo on the back. Williams-Toyota doesn't quite have the same ring to it.
