Hey I live in Vegas, and I've gone every year, with my cousins from San Jose. They own a shop called wheelz plus. This year, they said they probably won't be coming out, so I dunno how I'm gonna get in. Hopefully, someone will hook me up? :D

Wonder how strict they will be on checking credentials. E3 wasn't too strict, just get a blank Electronic's Boutique card and say you work for them.. and that's all.
Perhaps Mike, you can ask that stereo place you go to, and have them allow you to register under their store name... Or heck, Aerowerks...
Or Ibfubar2000 can get us in as Mazda lackies, or Devilzero can get us in since he works at Pep Boys.. (Automotive industry).

As cool as SEMA is to me it still doesnt compare to CES (consumer electronic show ) why you might ask, well if you have ever been to CES then you know whats also going on at the same time down stairs,( evil grin )!!!!!
