I like it too...but I can't stand when car companies FORCE you into an automatic, that kills the deal for me every time.

Samething happen to me when we got the "family car". She wanted a small SUV, I said "I am not driving a small SUV in the winter or around town I want a sedan". We now have an 05 Tribute. get what she wants, keep what you like.

Guys, guys...all the cars you mention are great cars. Remember I need a car to seat two adults and three teenagers. G35, Legacy, GTO & the likes do not seat 5 comfortably. The 300 looks a bit for older people and my wifes hates the Magnum.

Well then get teh R/T Charger, you're wife likes it... it facilitates the family.... and you'll have fun with that V8 HEMI.

Aside from the slightly numb steering (which shouldnt matter at all if its the family vehicle), the only negative things I heard about it is all subjective stuff.

Car is ordered...RT w/Road & Track Package. Basically the Daytona in Stealth Mode. Comes with 10 addtl. HP from tuned exhaust and intake, Peformance Seats, Brakes, Steering, Suspension & high perfomance tires. Not bad for a four door sedan. The torque is kicken, I drove it and you know the car has power when it weighs over 4000lbs and you still get pushed into your seat. Overall I still love my RX8

Can't an Evo VIII fit 5? :D

Seriously, there is a good amount of room in the back of the EVO for a compact sedan, though I don't know how it compares to the Dodge.

0% financing and dealers selling at or below invoice may be an alternative.

A "family" car needs comfort, something the Evo is seriously lacking in. Good luck with the new ride.

True...

I just can't find much appeal with the Charger as a true family car,(or anything else) but that's just one person's opinion.

It is what it is & the past is the past. It's an awesome car for a family sedan. I like it, the wife likes it and it fits five. Do you say the same about the new RX8 when comparing to the RX7 twin trubo of the past. I bet not?

haha i was going to bring up the point that the rx8 is a disgrace to the rx-7 twin turbo if you want to talk about new versions of old cars.

Well I picked up my wife's Stone White RT w/R&T package yesterday. The car is awesome, and talk about the power & torque. It still doesn't feel like my RX8, but it's the first time in a long time that I can look in my garage and I love both our cars. Which one to drive? Decisions, decisions...neck snapping American muscle or superb import sports car. Oh well, I'll just switch every once in a while. For those who don't know, the RT w/Road & Track package is the Daytona in stealth mode. All the pergormance upgrades without the extrior cosmetics of the Daytona. My wife didn't like the choices of Orange or Yellow. But neither did I. And for all you that are probably curious, the RX8 still feels faster once it winds up. And the handling, there is no comparison with the stock RX8. But for a large luxury car, it's got the goods to make it awesome to drive.

Bump. Mugato has me searching before I ask anything. Salituro64, how is the Charger working out for you? My wife has the eight and I'm thinking of the White R/T myself. Any feedback?
