So they took the "Front end smile" to a whole new level?....

Eh, it's not bad, but it doesn't scream to me as the sexiest thing available. I WOULD like more pictures of it, though.

The car was cool until they got to the back end and made it a wagon. Another wagon? REALLY? I refuse!!!!!

Front looks like a mix between a wrx and a troll on acid. Not a fan but otherwise looks good.

The STI doesnt have a smile, and the Evo if anything has a frown, but the design language that Mazda is implimenting is years old and stems from thier concepts,,,

And all this talk about being dissapointed in the MS3 being fwd my friend has a highly modded one and the torque steer is a blast, and would kick the **** out of most 8s...

I'm glad Mazda is pulling design elements from their recent concept vehicles and using them in production cars.

The influence is unmistakable.

I like the new Mazdaspeed 3 front end, and I also like the "vapor" red accents in the interior.

Nice pic find, SayNoToPistons.

^exactly...I love the overall design of this car inside and out. the interior quality looks great from what I can tell in the pictures, sporty but refined.

I absolutely despise hatchbacks but this one isn't too shabby.
The front end looks good but someone PLEASE tell me that's a functional hood scoop. (if not, that would be retarded)

It's functional. Mazda doesn't do nonfunctional.

Looks awesome I think. Flamboyant, juvenile, but not over the top, very Mazda. Rumored 280 horsepower and 300 lbs-ft of torque! On a FWD car!! Reminds me of a Top Gear episode I watched when Clarkson test drove a hot hatch with just too much power for the front wheels to deal with.

"So if a moth flaps it's wings in China, you're going into a tree."

I can see someone going down the highway and lightly touching the throttle only to have the car's front tires break lose and torque steer everywhere.

I bought a Mazda and it's mad!!!
