World's Fastest Car

It may or may not be the worlds fastest car. I could build a bicycle in my garage and claim that it goes 0-60 in 1.2 seconds, and has a top end in excess of 300MPH.
Until it exists in real life, and is tested by an independent source, it remains simply made-up numbers on a page.

From: In So Cal.. out in BFE... but in the good part... but not really by Cesar, Keith or Loren...
front/side shot reminds me of the S7. the rear is just ugly. kinda reminds me of a Zonda, or an old... what were those called.... Vector???
If the car really has just over 1,000 H.P. (which is possable) then I could see those numbers being true if the car was light enough (again possible) and the tires were wide enough.
but lets just wait and see what the "real" number will be.
none the less it's a cool car!
I was a little suprised to see a dizzy in there. I expected Direct fire. new school chasis meets old school style power plant. (looks to me like a small block chevy with throttle body injection.) the best part is the twin turbo....
all well nice and simple.... the way I like it!

With the Veyron you have some sense of reliability in terms of being able to run the engine hard for a long time in normal weather and road conditions. A lot of these other incarnations can only produce these numbers on the track or at the expense of overall drivability.

dont look at the Veyron as a car. it was a project to test the limits of human knowledge and power. that thing is a freaking wonder machine. thats why VW isnt making any profit from teh Veyron (theyre actually loosing money), but they knew what they were in for.
