There are a few street legal cars that are pushing 1000whp. In fact, a couple of them have been driven back and forth from Chicago and Florida to have the work done, no trailer or dyno queens here. One of them even looks totally stock other than the bigger exhaust and FMIC. Why would they bottom out??? They're not some stupid show cars, they're fast cars with proper suspension.

Here's a video of the AMS shop car (last year when it had less hp) cruising around Chicago, license plate, parachute and all

Here's one of the Florida Evos. It's claimed to be his daily other than his Carpet van (he owns a carpet company).

I'd post more but the rest involve lots of streetracing

that doesnt mean they can beat the Veyron (253mph) in terms of top speed and still be daily driveable and street legal.

If they wanted to they could, but I don't see the point. Look, my only point was that it's not that difficult to build a car that's faster than the Veyron. It's very difficult to build a car that goes as fast as the Veyron is and make it as good as the Veyron.

That was my point in the first place... Those cars are daily driveable and street legal (officially), it just depends on what you're willing to put up with. It's very likely those cars would beat the Veyron in the top speed department if the gears were tall enough. Hell, even if they needed an entire new body to do it that just proves my original point again.

I'm not a fan of the Veyron. I'd rather have a Saleen S7 Twin-Turbo. In some cases it is quicker than the Veyron.

Or I'd rather have this www.caparo-t1.com
