I'd still prefer it with a Toyota badge, but if it were to come out looking real close to that, I may have to reconsider. I would just hope they price it high enough to keep the normal 20-something Scion crowd away.

Obviously some things will have to be changed for production, but so far, I'd be tempted to say I want a scion for the first time.
I hope the rear "scion" logo is toned down... I would actually spend the money to buy an unbranded trunk lid if it looked like that. That's my biggest critique at this point. I'd love to have those 18" brakes... if the car turns out as light as past rumors have described, that would be some serious stopping power.

If it looked just like that and lived up to the power and weight rumors yes.
No most likely because of what the production version will turn out to be. Rumors abound about it being squared up to fit into the scion line better. Also, it's a scion. It's interior and build quality will likely be subpar for it's price range. I just imagine it being a huge letdown.

Keep in mind the base boxer engine mentioned in the article only has 170 HP. I wouldn't get your hopes up. If they are set on keeping the car priced for the current Scion ricer crowd, it is sure to be pathetic in the performance department. All show and no go. Subaru is more likely to have the big boy version of the car. Gotta admit it does look badass though.

Scion? nope.
I don't care if the quality is superior (for the price) I simply won't get it because of that 10 bux "Scion" badge they got on the Front and back and steering wheel and wherever it will be.
a Subbie. maybe.

I agree with the badging issues, but only to the extent that I would have to de-badge it if I ended up getting one. If the performance and quality of the car are good enough, I can deal with having to do something about the badging.
