BAD BUSINESS: Scott@Rx8performance
Buyers beware!!! Look for Rx8 parts elsewhere.
I'll try to keep this short and sweet as possible.
I purchased my entire cooling system from his site; dual-pass rad, 'performance' fan assembly, AST w sensor/bung, EWP conversion plate and what he sold me as his personal ewp 'kit' (which was not featured but apparently available at a very high cost). This 'ewp kit' included an off the shelf Davies ewp150 kit ($450), apporx 3ft of bulk universal coolant hose ($10-20), a couple off the shelf adaptors found at any part store and a small poorly made mounting plate bracket which I assume was for the ewp for $1200 (now imagine my surprise when I opened the box to see what had shipped me). Not to mention he said he was going to test-fit the entire system to his shop car to verify proper fitment and operation beforehand which also did not happen.
AST- issues holding pressure, tested multiple caps, problem with supplied cap and filler neck
EWP conversion plate- bad welds, pin-hole sized leak, not for s2 (which he did not specify)
Performance fan- doesn't fit his own dual-pass radiator mounting points and the fan is so large there's no clearance for it to fit
EWP 'kit'- charged me $1k+ for less than $600 worth of parts/material
When his ewp conversion plate started leaking, I created an email chain with my shop tech asking what's up, provided pics and he then turned ghost. I still haven't heard from him. He never once offered to replace, repair, explain or apologize; not to mention every order I placed experienced extreme lagging and lack of communication.
I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for your Rx8 parts. Best of luck to you all.
Thanks for reading club!

That is very unfortunate. I've ordered from Scott myself and have not had any issues but from what has been said, it has been hit or miss with him. If you're looking for a radiator, i do have a large Ron Davis radiator never installed in my garage. It does have bent fins from storage but can be straightened. All it needs is custom hoses to make it work. Let me know if you're interested.

Edit: Scott has reached out to me and said pretty much everything will ship next week, and assured me the parts will fit and hundreds of the radiator/fan combos are in fact in use. We shall see when it gets here and I have the time, I will try to install it and test fit and report what happens.

well anyone can post up whatever comment they want whether it has merit or not; there are threads on here complimenting his service, but glad the one comment was updated
not sure how the fan fitment became an issue since it wasn’t before

the only few times I ever recall someone struggling with fitment was either trying to fit it with all the stock junk in the front which only blocks the radiator from working at it’s best and other mods like Greddy turbo piping.
but then the issue has been that so far most of the radiators end up having a shoddy weld somewhere that eventually starts leaking within a year.

unfortunately the reality of actual end-user results doesn’t care about your feelings based on outward appearance
which only confirms your own words admitting a lack of welding knowledge. Because it's very easy to produce a beautiful cold bead that only serves as a cosmetic disguise for a disaster waiting to happen. It’s called lack of penetration and no, it’s not about being abstinent.

You need to learn to be civil, but I assume if you haven't figured that out by now, you won't. And you can keep your interior, you're a giant flake who I would rather sit on a bucket than associate with in any way.

Of course not, and no reasonable person would assume that I am. Leaks are bad, but also everyone who seems to have tried this radiator gives it glowing reviews as far as performance is concerned.
Now, I don't think a $650 radiator should leak at all, but saying most or all of them will develop a leak is premature. We just don't know, as people that are happy with their purchase after 5 years of ownership usually don't come here and post about it.

Just wasn’t sure if was just me or them. I wouldn’t have posted that if not true. You can make whatever claims you want about me and my motives, but a lot of what you posted isn’t the truth. Perhaps some of it was actually within your heart though. I appreciate you sharing those hidden things with me. just the same there’s no hard feelings on my end.

So in the end, it's best if I just block you and pretend you don't exist. You aren't worth the effort. Goodbye and good luck.

claiming I need meds despite not even flinching at the kitchen sink being thrown at me while you’re having a complete and total meltdown over something so petty is fairly revealing. right up there with the example of a civil response.
