i ordered the cf lip about 2 months ago and i still dont have it. i called 3 weeks ago and he actually picked up and said in 2 weeks and now he doesnt pick up his phone at all. whats up with that?

he seems to do OK if it's in stock, the problem seems to be that he takes orders for parts he can't get right away

i was going to buy the cf lip too, so i contacted jay prior to making the order and he told me to either hold off or be patient because they were on back order...this was about two months ago as well. Knowing this i felt it was admirable of him to let me know this; and though he didn't get the sale he did earn some points with me.

sucks these things happen though

yep,

it is a timing thing. i got my cf lip and mirror covers in 3 days..

Doesnt matter whether or not he has to wait 3 days or 3 months, the seller should NOT be giving him false hope with bogus arrival dates and ignoring his calls. If its going to take another month then thats the way it is, just be honest and relay that to your customer. If its on back order then the seller doesnt even know exactly when they will get it, so why not just relay that to the customer?

There is NOTHING more frustrating than sending money to a seller and then being ignored afterwards. Even though i wouldnt be happy about it, i could handle a seller telling me the part is on backorder and the arrival date is not certain rather than he tell me it will be here in 2 weeks when he really doesnt know that for sure. Then when two weeks comes and he still hasnt got it, the seller looks like a liar and he just gave you the runaround to keep you from pulling out of the whole deal.

I would expect to here a reply such as this from the seller, "Sorry about the long wait, your part is on backorder and the truth is im not completely sure when one will become available, it may take 1 week, it may take a little more, but i assure you as soon one becomes available it will be sent to you immediately. I appreciate your business and will be diligent in trying to get this to you ASAP. Again, sorry for the delay."

I got my C/F lip in like 3-4 days. Been on the car for over a year with no problems.
I hope things work out.
