Sorry...I waited as long as I could to resolve the problem.

I purchased clear corners from him 3 weeks ago and never saw a package. I kept up with him on PM's and e-mail.

He e-mailed maybe TWO weeks ago and said he was going to get the tracking number from his wife. Yea...never happened. So now I am in the middle of a Paypal dispute to get my money back. I hate going through this...most the people on this board are legit. This sucks...

His name I believe is Omar...you can look at his info in his profile. He hasn't logged on since the July 1st. Ridiculous.

You know you can mark his trader score now as well. This might help others.

I am not taking side here. Just passing information. For all I know, you scammed him!!

Ding him.

dammit, yeah I was holding off on writing something here too- but I have a dispute with him as well.

I paid him $90 for almost-new ignition coils, and they never came. Communication was OK but a little roundabout, and TWICE he said they were shiped (how can you ship them twice??) and would get me a tracking number (again, twice). He said something about surgery and his wife, but it sounded fishy. I opened a paypal "discussion", and never heard a word from him. He was initially extremely friendly, and was talking about the area I'm from (that he's familiar with), etc so I was surprised when it went sour.

Paypal refunded $60 of the $90 (can anyone explain why I didn't get all of it back???)

Edit: Oh yeah, and the second time, he gave me a "Tracking number" that was the correct number of digits but didn't register with USPS, UPS, fedex, or any other shipping company. Very strange....why go out of your way so much if you're just going to scam someone...

To everyone, I purchase all my parts here on this web, from coilovers, BHR Ignition Kits, Rims, Brakes, etc... f&% I have invested well in this thread with many vendors, you can say close to $3000, no problems, Yes I experienced a delay shipping your coils, but it was because the post office returned the package undeliverable. When you gave me the address the first time, I barely check my mail at the post office which is nearly fu$&#n 40 miles away....

The second time I sent them, I gave u the tracking number the United States Post Office gave me.... no FEDEX, NO UPS, no other dam company, for $90 a set of new coils I pretty much gave them for free to you.

Now thanks to you, not only did you received and kept the coils *******, you marked my Paypal account and I am obligated to refund you the money, this is my fault though for not answering paypal fast as you did, somewhere or somehow eventually you will have to refund me.... I GOT SCAMMED... it's sad how some people change their stories and try to become the victim when they are the ones who really can't do business... I've been around this website for a while, when I sell I sell, when I buy I buy and no hazzle for the money transfer.

Good Luck Scamming someone else..... Dick...

Hi Anthony,

I don't understand why the bull$^#@t you posting me on a bad gut thread, I guess this is a new way to scam vendors online..... I must admit I have a bad timing for shipping, but know that your clear corners were shipped.

PEOPLE WHO BUY HERE FROM NOW ON SHOULD BE VERY CAREFULL WITH THIS NEW SCAMMING TRICK. THE BUYER WILL SEND PAYMENT, THE VENDOR WILL SHIP, AFTER WEEKS , THEY WILL SUBMIT A CLAIM STATING THAT THEY NEVER RECEIVED THE ITEM, EVENTUALLY IF PAYMENT WAS THROUGH PAYPAL, YOU WILL HAVE TO REFUND ALL THE MONEY BACK TO THE BUYER, IN WHICH WILL **** YOU OFF BECAUSE YOU ALLREADY SHIPPED THE ITEM.

THIS IS THE SECOND TIME I GET SCAMMED LIKE THIS , AND VERY SAD TO SAY I WILL NOT TOLERATE ANOTHER DICKWARD TO KEEP SCREWING ME.

good luck everyone else and be carefull with paypal buyers.... with this new scam.....

two separate people "scamming" you? come on now...

it seems there was lack of communication on your end and a couple weeks delay in shipping without very good communication would lead me to be suspicious as well. i don't think these guys are trying to scam you here. if they get the product i'm sure they'll go ahead and pay you via paypal but you have to take a step back and see it through their eyes and it looked pretty bad from where they stood.

If it was a genuine misunderstanding then you guys need to work on settling this. Paypal disputes can suck if they aren't legitimate.

Umm, delivery confirmation is a wonderful thing.

I just learned this recently:

Paypal Wording:

"We have received a complaint from a buyer who stated that merchandise you
sent them did not match your original description. The buyer is disputing
the quality of goods associated with the transaction detailed below.

As you may already be aware, PayPal's Buyer Complaint Policy applies only
to the shipment of goods and not to complaints about the attributes or
quality of goods received through an eBay transaction. Therefore, we will
not conduct an investigation into this matter at this time."

Paypal sides with the seller. As long as the seller can prove the good were sent, and (most sellers) get delivery confirmation. If you can produce a tracking number (that works) to paypal and have delivery confirmation, you'll get your money as a seller.

Buyers - it is the Buyer's responsibility to know what they're buying. Look at pictures, ask for original records, etc. Its easy to just swoop in on the forum and buy up some rare item without knowing anything about it.
I've bought and sold parts on here that were over 400 bucks.
Sellers - what questions would you want answered if you were a buyer
Buyers - trust your instincts.

In my opinion, PRX8, if you can't produce delivery confirmation or a tracking number in the eyes of paypal, than you're at fault dude.

Now, no one asked for me opinion, so I'll shut up now.

I never received a thing in the mail. If it was an "address undeliverable" problem then it was on you part, because I checked again and the address I PMed you was correct and properly formatted.

I was sent a "tracking number" that didn't register with any shipping company. If the thing was shipped at all, returned to sender or not, it should still have been able to be tracked.

I initiated a paypal dispute and waited 2 weeks with no reply before increasing it to a claim. I even waited nearly a month before initiating the dispute in the first place.

If it was returned to sender the first time (supposedly) because of an incorrectly written address, why would you believe I got them now???

At the very least this was pretty bad communication, but everything else doesn't sit well with me either.

This is true, and I don't want to tarnish anyone's seller/buyer record for no reason. Take care of this properly and I'd be willing to communicate that to Paypal. Otherwise, I feel that I'm the only person getting screwed with here.

PRX8 - sounds too fishy, better communication and valid tracking info is the best way to keep up with Paypal, and even if he did dispute and you say you didn't have time to respond paypal gives the seller like 48hrs to respond, if it were a scam and you didn't respond to paypal in that allotted time then its on you

I think PRX8 is honest...just really slow and unreliable shipper. I bought plugs and coils from him. He initially shipped out very quickly but there was an issue where he said he was shipping FedEx and I gave him a non POST OFFICE shipping address. He then gives me a USPS tracking # and it of course was returned to him. It took him about 6-8 weeks after that to get it shipped back out.

It was very frustrating, but the product was good and happy I received them. I don't think PRX8 is trying to scam anyone but just needs to focus on better customer service. I know he has a blackberry device he gets e-mails on (e-mailed me from it a time or two), so not getting e-mails shouldn't really be an issue, but it's easy to look at an e-mail and not be able to respond or follow up and then the e-mail is no longer new and you forget about it. No excuses, just reality.

The last thing you want to do when you're selling goods is to be a slow shipper. Someone gives you the money today, they want their product shipped within 2 days and received within 10 days. Frustration starts building after that point.

Ok...wow. I guess I haven't checked this thread so this is my fault. Let me clear things up around here. I didn't create this thread to slam anyone...or end up hurting myself. I have been around here, and have sold and bought more things from various people who would love to defend me. FluidMotorsports and Topgear8 being a few.

I have money and you scamming me for $50 is no problem. When you get on here and try to do it to other people without them knowing is when I have an issue. If you were telling the TRUTH, you would have responded to my Paypal dispute.

If you were telling the truth you would have provided me a tracking number. Which you said you would like 3 times. I have all the e-mails and all private messages from you. You will not lie your way out of this one. How about you post that tracking number so everyone here can see it? That way we can all see where it went to.

I will request from a Admin that your account be disabled and you be banned from selling anything on here. I'm not really that angry at the whole thing, but to say you shipped them and then turn this discussion on ME...is unacceptable.

I coughed up another 50 and purchased the clear corners from FluidMotorsports. If I receive the in the mail now, I will send it back to you if you refund my money.

EDIT: I see the posts about him being an honest person, but I did not receive anything and its almost been 2 months. To me, that is stealing.

Wrong, Paypal gave PRX8 a WEEK to respond...a WEEK. I can and will post up ALL information for everybody if need be.

No disrespect silverhookie, but as i mentioned in my previous posts,

i check my post office mail 3 or 4 times a month,

i log onto the internet maybe once a week, as per my emails yes i had a blackberry, yes i used to receive emails, since the post office is almost 40 miles away from my house i advised that before shipping to excuse the delay. If the items were returned to my address then why i haven't received a notification of un-delivered just as it happened to rotarykillz. In which i really appreciated his pacience during the delay, i don't work for the fu$%*#g government, i don't control the lack of service, all i can say is that i honestly shipped them the very next day last time we've talked.

so i will appreciate that you avoid accusing me of stealing $50 lousy dollars, and trust me if i was in virginia active in the service in which i still know people, i'd be all over your face to resolve this issue personaly, i don't scam nor steal i make close to $3000 a month ( no need for that ) you don't know me but it's just an advice.

elysium19 / silverhokie

this goes for both of you as for the refund, once i receive the package, i will honor your refund, plain and simple as that.

I am not saying that it is fair to take advantage of others, nor that it is right to allow these things to happen, obviously i will do my part of requesting the post office where i delivered the items to confirm what exactly happend. By now if you're stating you never received it but i shipped it, it's gotta be somewhere.

tracking # should tell you where it went, when it was sent, and what address... so, lets see some tracking number.
