So I ordered a Koyo Radiator on Jan 3. Their web site said that they are in stock and will ship in 2-3 business days. So I waited until Jan 13. Still haven't received my radiator so I decided to call and get some info. The person on the other line was very rude, he rushed me the whole time and just said that it has been shipped, then hung up the phone. I got no tracking number, nothing, he didn't even give me his name. Well another 7 days went by and still no radiator. So I know something is iffy so I called again. Same guy, same attitude and rudeness, told me that the product is on back order in Japan. I was like WTF, so fed up with their lack of communication with their customers that I decided to cancel my order.
Long story short, very bad customer service.

Hm, they seemed pretty nice to me when I called about my ACT combo? When I received only the throw-out bearing and counterweight, I called to ask about the other stuff. "It ships in diff. packages, it should be there tomorrow." Didn't show up for a week So i called again, "oh, i'm sorry, I forgot to send out the rest of the order, i'll get on that right now, sorry about that." Got it in two days. Maybe a little off topic, but they were nice to me none the less. Maybe you just got some a-hole guy answering the phone, and coincidently got him again? My friend that's building an fd orders from them all the time, has not complained yet..

I had the same thing happen to me. But I was given a tracking number on my 2nd or 3rd call... problem was, the tracking number was for a package that was "electronically submitted" - e.g; wasn't a package that had been handed to UPS yet. Several weeks later I got the item, tracking number on it was not even close to the same as the one I was given previously... Total wait time was about a month. I was expecting to get it within a week since it was "in stock" too.
On the plus side, I eventually did get the items, which is better than some places who never deliver. Just don't expect to get the items quickly when you order from them.

I had problems with them when I ordered my RB exhaust and Eibach springs. They were very helpful before they had my money, but once they had it they couldn't have been more useless.

Wow, this makes me think twice about ordering about $1000 worth of stuff I need to get to my house within a week. I cannot wait a month. I was going to pull the trigger this weekend. Hmm. Who do you guys recommend I purchase an Act Clutch, Act Flywheel, AP Pulley, Stainless Clutchline, and Stainless Brakelines?

Hmmm. I just got some brake rotors & pads from them. Although they were not "Johnny-On-The-Spot" with communication, I did get my parts in a timely manner. It took about a week to get to the SF Bay Area. Jason, the salesperson, even measured the rotors form me to make sure that I was getting the right sizes for the front and backs. The rotors were not marked (front, left, right, or rear) but a quick call and they explained how the slots go.

Depends if something is on backorder. I find it funny how people think we are the size of BEST BUY and everything is in stock at all times. I try to keep the popular stuff in stock, but I dont make the stuff here so I have to rely on others to get the product to me. Same goes for every other shop that sells parts.

And every week I called you said it would be shipping soon. If you're drop shipping and have no control over the actual ship times, just be up front with the ETA and what is going on. Nothing pisses me off more than being told to expect something and having the deadline come and go. It's just not good customer service.

^ its true what jason says. if a distributor tells them "this long" the shops tell them the same. but sometimes it doesnt go as planned. so yeah it is a problem at times as well. i've had this type of problem numerous of times.

A possible solution is to tell the customer which items are to be dropped shipped and that the ETA for drop shipped items are only a rough estimate, which is beyond your control.
I was being told it would be shipping soon, with no additional information. So put yourself in your customer's shoes, after being told that for several weeks in a row = upset and unhappy.
