rotoryfan1991 was bennettbuilt? I never realized that. Did you try contacting him through that username?

Good catch, thanks. I have now tried to do so. No response and no response from the business email either.

UPDATE: Still no response from Bennitt, but my Credit Union managed to extract a $305 refund onto my charge card. Mission accomplished but not a satisfying experience.

unfortunately there seems to be no shortage of crash and burn going around for various shops and vendors, but glad you were able to resolve the reimbursement part of the situation.

The true rotary experts with integrity are becoming scarce.
A young man with mechanical aptitude can probably make a good living repairing 8s the right way with strong business ethics and practices.
I wish I had discovered how rewarding rotaries are 30 years ago.

It would've been a good side job to supplement my income, but I doubt it would've surpassed my machinist salary to warrant starting a standalone business.

Someone will be needed to fill in the inevitable loss of the OG rotary experts.

Maybe there are some out there who are picking up the slack, but aren't known yet.
I can hope, because I know my wrenching days are numbered, and Kyle the Rotary Doctor in Neosho is too far for anything but engine rebuilding or
replacement, and he ain't exactly young either.
