Thumbs up Good Guy: dancap

I recently purchased an escort passport 8500 x50 radar detector from dancap and thought I'd post a review.

The radar detector arrived in more than adequate packaging and looked brand new (just as he described it).

The user manual looked un-read and the registration card was included (for warranty/registration purposes).

The unit was shipped priority mail and I received it very quickly.

I decided to try it out today and it definitely works better than my old cobra unit.

Thanks dancap!

Thanks, and it def. was!

I think of it this way, "treat people the way you would like to be treated." Easy as that and with all of us car lovers or other hobbies, when we buy something we want it As fast as possible. Therefore i strive to make that happen. In the end everyone's happy

It's a great unit and has paid for itself many times over in my car.

I have mine mounted just to the right of the mirror almost touching the roof. You can only see it from the outside if you bend down and look throw the side windows. Purchased the remote extender wire from escort and ran the wire up the passengers A pillar and across the headliner. I have the remote mute switch mounted in my glove box.

PM if you'd like any tips ... congrats again on a great purchase!
