Angry Himni racing - Issue resolved

Okay I placed an order for a Garrett TO4E 57 trim turbo on the 8th of March through them and also requested expedited shipping because my car is down (2 DAY air shipping via UPS) It is now Friday and still no sign, update, or even a damn response via email or phone call. I have nothing, except for what the status on my order says on the damn site which is, "processing". WTF???? How the hell is it still processing when funds have even been withdrawn from my bank account.

I'v called & called, left voicemails, and two emails and still no response. I finally sent an email threatning to take action, if I don't hear back from them soon.

I mean because how suspect does that look when you can't get a hold of a single soul from a supposedly "reputable" retailer. Am I asking for to much, just some damn simple communication. Let me know you at least received my payment, your alive, something, **** man.

Himni-racing is the site people. You've been warned steer clear, Will keep you all posted on how this settles out.

WTF, never heard of them. The problem in general is that most of these aftermarket parts companies are just wannabe parts resellers working out of their garage with minimal resources. A lot of them don't even have a clue about the products they're selling, let alone how to run a business.

I was reminded of our recent texting about differentials and what you enlightened me on.

Then I was, like, "Hey......."

But I knew what you meant in the first place.

Know one really just browsing through their website and noticed that they deal mainly with rotaries, so I was like okay. http://www.himni-racing.com/ Check it Out. #863.655.0594

I really blame my self though, was looking for the best price on said part and they offered the lowest. You can't put a price on Customer service period, that being said I ordered some misc parts the following day through ATP Turbo (Top Notch), and not only did I receive their parts before himni but they also sent me a tracking # before the part was even shipped out, not to mention it was shipped the same day.

Has anybody here dealt with or heard of Himni? I'm really getting worried now, this **** sucks. I'm not even concerned about the 2 day shipping anymore I just want to know if my turbo is on the way or give me my damn money back. What should I do?

NGO are you referring to himni racing???

If so wow.

Yeah I should have called like I always but not this time, my dumbass just placed the order through their site. I opened up a dispute on paypal here is a copy of the message I posted

Hello I placed an order through you all on the 8th of march for a Garrett TO4E 57 trim turbo and payed via paypal. The order has since been processed through paypal and funds withdrawn. My issue is when I check online for order status, it still says processing and its been 3 days now, be reminded I also payed for 2 day air shipping via UPS which isn't cheap. I tried calling and calling and even left voicemails and cannot get a hold of anyone whatsoever. This is starting to worry me and something seems very suspect. I thought I was ordering from a reputable company, but when I can't even get a hold of anyone then something is definitely wrong there. My car is down and I requested expedited shipping for a reason, this is ridiculous. If you can't provide said item for whatever the reason, how hard is it to post that on your site, what you have & don't have in stock. I need to be refunded the money I payed for 2 day air shipping and have my turbo delivered or refund me all my money in whole.
I will give them to tuesday or wednesday of next week to respond then I will take it up another level and file a claim.

Okay just checked the status on my account online through their site and it looks like somebody or someone from there initiated a refund payment to my account. It was started yesterday:

03/08/2010 Processing
03/08/2010 Processing PayPal status: Completed @ 21:36:01 Mar 08, 2010 PST
Trans ID:02387832AL059345X
Amount: 729.77 USD
03/12/2010 Pending PayPal status: Reversed @ 15:13:04 Mar 12, 2010 PST
Parent Trans ID:02387832AL059345X
Trans ID:7X209738CC779015R
Amount: -713.42 USD
I still don't get why they dont answer their damn phone, just some simple communication could have avoided all this

Nevermind I just noticed that was the same time that initiated the paypal dispute

Okay fells I have since been in contact with himni racing finally and it seems everthing has been straightened out, below is the msg that were exchanged;

From Seller - Himni Racing

Hello,

We got your email but are responding here because the messages are the same. Please understand that we have a 24-48 hour processing time depending on how many orders are in front of you. Though we normally ships most orders in less then 24 hours, sometimes there are exceptions. The main delay with your order is due to your turbo needing to be configured to your requested specs before shipping. If the turbo is already boxed with the ordered turbine housing, they ship out quickly but if it needs configuration, it can take a bit longer. I understand that you might get worried if you don't hear back from us right away but we are on top of the situation. Your order was set to ship out Monday the 15th & will still be shipped via 2 day as you paid for. Please let us know if you would still like us to ship your order or if you if you want to cancel. The best way to contact us is through email as we are behind the computers most of the day.

Thanks,

Paul @ HR

Hello,

I totally understand, what I don't seem to understand is why that wasn't posted on your site for all "special order items", simply stating "please allow 1 to 2 weeks for special order items to ship". That's all if I would have seen or known this I probably would have opted to order from a different vendor because time was of essence for me to get this turbo. I would still like to have my turbo delivered if it is indeed due to ship out Monday or Wednesday the absolute latest. If not or any further delays could you just please cancel my order and refund me my money. Thank you all for finally replying and updating me, looking forward to said product and hope it ships out Monday. Will you all be able to provide tracking info once shipped?

Best Regards

Derek

Hi Derek,

We don't note to allow for 1-2 weeks for shipping of this turbo because that is not always the case. Often times it will be shipped in less then 24 hours. Again, it just depends if the turbo is ready to go with the selected housing or not. The world of turbos is not like that of an exhaust or intake. (a pre boxed whatever with no real options, etc) Though we usually can get a given turbo shipped very quick, sometimes that isn't the case. In the HP car world, everyone is in a rush & needs the item yesterday but it's worth noting that the best things come in time. Just like properly selecting the best turbo for an application can be time consuming & a somewhat long (lots of math, reading compressor & turbine maps, etc) & isn't something that should be rushed, waiting for it to arrive should also get the same consideration if needed. It is common for a given Garrett turbo to go on back order, with Garrett not shipping them for months & customers getting in line to insure they get theirs when they become available again. I do understand that getting everything right when we want it would be ideal, but nothing is ever perfect. It's how we handle the imperfect situations that separates the good from the rest. You ordered a great turbo & not some whatever junk from whatever vender. You, your turbo & the engine it's for deserves that little extra time/mile if need. If you ever need to know if a turbo or item is ready to ship out, please send us an quick email before placing the order & we'll to check for you.

Your order is set for shipping on Monday & your order will be updated with the tracking info when it does.

Thanks so much,

Paul @ HR
