I see nothing wrong with the way m4f handled this .
He recieves the product
opens the box
Sees the damage
Contacts the supplier with "what do I do ?"
Supplier says "send it back"
He sends it back

That is pefectly reasonable . He has done what the supplier asked .

and then came here to bitch that it was going fast enough for him. Two weeks and he comes to the boards as if a well known seller was going to rip him off. He started an emo whine thread, he get's the emo whine treatment.

He wasn't complaining about being ripped off, just about the lack of communication. I've spent half that much in three or four orders in my dealings with Charles R. Hill, and I never had to wait more than a few hours for him to return a PM or phone call. Some people aren't used to waiting several days or weeks. Give the guy a break, it's not like he has a supercharger under his hood or something, jeez

Jeff's a busy guy, and not everyone knows this. Plus, it's not the first time that he's kept a customer waiting:

So you're saying Jeff isn't fast to respond? This is news?

I'm not sure about everyone else on the boards but before I send out more then 200 bucks for anything I read up on the guy I'm sending money to. A quick search of the many AP threads would show that he takes a really long time to get back to people at times. It would also show that zero people have been left hanging forever. My problem with the OP is that he gave it two weeks then came crying to the boards.

And wait.. Charles is better at customer service then Jeff? OMG, it's like you found the cure for cancer.. no, wait.. you just stated something that's obvious to anyone who bothers to read the boards.

I also get the vitriol that has gone on between you (SC guy) and MM (turbo guy)... so seeing you in here taking the side of the emo OP isn't really shocking.

OK I admit it . I take up a lot of Jeff's time tuning and developing and engineering and drinking, oh wait, I didn't say that.
Like this week We were dynoing 5 some cars at UMS Tuning on Wednesday and started at 4:00pm and finished a little after 12:00am. Three hours later Jeff was on his way to LA for two day's. This is typical of Mr. Maniacs work schedule. I get tired from just being around him for a few days.
And then throw in all the AP stuff he does and all the Turbo stuff he does, and all the other stuff he does. It's a miracle the man has not died of exhaustion.
Every time I go over to his house I bring him a Monster Java just to get him going.

When Jeff came out for our Dyno day he was on his feet for 10 hours straight. The man did nothing but tune cars, smoke cigs, and eat really bad pizza. The dyno owners took a lunch and Jeff worked through it. He might not win any customer service awards for communication but he'd win every award for results.

Jeff worked from 9:30am on my car till the following morning at 4:30am. Then you have to add in time to drive back to his hotel... so roughly 20 hours straight.

It's news to some, if not most. Not everyone's a member of his fanclub.

Well, this doesn't apply here, and two weeks is a pretty long time for some.

Didn't realize it was that obvious, and I've been on this forum a long time. Wasted sarcasm.

Well here's a shocker for you buddy: I'm not taking sides. I'm just making an observation. The only "emo whining" I've seen came from his fanclub after he posted something that can possibly be perceived as negative towards their buddy. Sarcastic "emo whining." And why all the sarcastic "emo whining," he's taking care of his customer after all, isn't he?

The end.

The emo whining and fanboy insults should really stop. The end result is the same. MM (I've never met him nor know him) gave the customer a replacement turbo and took it in the shorts. The customer got his turbo kit in the end. (and hopefully is happy)

Whether MM should've gave him a replacement turbo or not (and he shoudn'tve) is not for us to decide. He made that decision himself being the man or woman he is. (if man IMO should be rocking a fat mustache, if woman she's probably ugly)

Whether the OP took a screwdriver and opened up the turbo and bent some crap on it, also isnt for us to decide (although he did)

Lesson learned from this thread. MM is a busy guy, Charles Hill's customer service is excellent. And when ordering a turbo kit, dont take it apart and bend stuff on it. That's what I gather.

yay, do i get a membership card? I like Jeff and everything he's done for the community so you using "fanclub" must not be an attempt at an insult, is it?

When ordering custom car parts, no

First off, no sarcasm is wasted. Second, it is very obvious for anyone bothering to read up on these boards... which is something you should do when you're going to send money to someone you've never met. The OP's original whine was that it was taking too long to hear back from MM so he made this thread. If he had bothered to read up about Jeff he would have known how long it takes to get a response.

And since you troll most threads with MM's name in them I can't see how you didn't know this as well.

I lost all respect for you with that statement. You are taking sides and at least that made you interesting. Now you're saying you just came in here and started posting for no reason.

So which one was it, then? I know you're not implying that he's "emo whining" about a long wait when ordering custom parts...

I think this is the only thread I've ever posted in that had MM's name in it, unless you count threads he has posted in, which leaves me at a severe of a disadvantage since he has posted in a much higher percentage of threads. Plus, I'd hardly call what I'm doing trolling.

Well, this isn't my thread, so its not really my place to ask for it to stop, but I will anyway.
Stop.

If y'all want to alternately pee on me and then wipe it off (I appreciate the attention from both "sides", so no harm, no foul) then make a "MazdaManiac Pissing Thread" and move the convo over there.

I'm sure Edgar will appreciate it.

MM thanks, got the turbo, checked it, all good. You deserve Good Guy status. I'm impatient so I'll say a bit slow, but great job.

And for the rest, problem solved, and yes, it was a complaint of communication, not rip off or bad work. Get it straight and don't kiss *** (Im sure MM is sick of that...)

Im tempted to install it and not sell it!
