MM - Undelivered turbo kit

Good morning to you all,

I just want to start a thread to (maybe) get information from MM about the status about my order (Turbo kit) that I launched and paid in December 2008.

I haven't heard anything from Jeff over the last 1.5 years, nor gotten any reply on my e-mails.

I just would like to know if there is something that will be delivered in the future.

Best regards

Luc from Luxembourg

So you have received no emails and or no tracking number(s) for your Turbo?..

That is if your order has been shipped?

How are you supposed to know the outcome without communication from the vendor?

Luc -

Thanks for divesting yourself from that other thread. I didn't want your situation mixed up with the French scammer, so responding to you there didn't seem appropriate.

First of all, I'm really sorry you've gotten stuck in the middle with all the other nonsense from my other turbo kit screw-ups. It really seems like I just swept you under the rug while I dealt with the people that were actively threatening my life and limb. That was inexcusable.

The unfortunate fact is - I have no idea what I did with your kit. When I had the others shipped out back in August, yours was one of the kits that was completed and labeled, but now I have no documentation of where it actually went. I was frazzled, under the gun and pretty much out of control of everything around me at that point, so I screwed it up.
So, I guess I am out yet another kit.

I have an additional new Garrett turbo unit and an actuator with which I was going to prototype a new manifold. Instead, I will build another kit for you with it over the next several weeks once I move out of my house over the next few days. That is the best I can offer.

To the rest of the knuckleheads around here - go ahead. Pile on. It wont change a damn thing.

What an amazing react from Jeff! He has lost one of his customer. I have never heard such a thing. Nobody here is trusting you now Jeff.

Perhaps that the letter of my lawyer is giving good results, but not for me in a first time. You will have to find another story to ship my kit.

Good luck Luc.

I couldn't possibly care any less about what you think.
You are a thief and a liar. And now, thanks to your mistake in your filing with your "lawyer", you can now also be charged with a felony under US law.

Nope. My lawyer sent your "lawyer" an explanation of why you are entitled to absolutely nothing further and we referred your little entree into e-Thugism to your local constable. Enjoy your four-squares. Don't bend over for the soap.

you have forgotten that Luc was your customer between the moment when you took the photo of my avatar and today, and yet you must have remembered it everytime you see my avatar! You have made a fourth turbo for your pleasure! You really must be joking!

your stories are more and more incredible, and more and more ridiculous Jeff!

your answer here proves that You are a scammer and a liar, not me.

If Luc hasn't opened this thread, you would have won a turbo, like mine.

Are you f-cking kidding us? Clearly, the only "knucklehead" here is you and the usual BS excuses as to why you have been ignoring this customer pleading with you for months (after waiting almost three years for his pre-paid turbo kit) just to have even the simplest acknowledgement from you, let alone basic info like a tracking number for the supposedly lost package.

For you to call anyone else out as a scammer or having engaged in inexcusable behavior is beyond laughable. If you had done this on your own rather than putting the customer in the position of calling you out first it might be believable. Even if you do ultimately make good you will never be a trustworthy vendor IMO.

sheesh ...

Thanks for your post Jeff,

I appreciate you being so frank. Cheers.

If you don't mind, I would only like to have the money back, as the car has been sold in the meantime. So if I'm gonna get the kit, I will have to sell it further to the next RX8 owner, hoping that I'll find somebody interested over here.

What do you think?

Your game is obvious to anyone who cares to see it. I wouldn't call anyone an outright liar, but its clear to me that you are way short on the truth in many ways.

As for your calling ERX8 a scammer, just who is it that he is scamming? It is up to the shipper (you) to file the insurance claim and for the postal service to make the determination. If the Postal Service finds in his favor they pay for their mistake. You have nothing to lose *unless* you didn't follow through properly on your end like what happened in your previous lost turbo kit fiasco four or so years ago (South Korea?).

Where is the logic in you not filing the claim and instead calling him a scammer? I would like to think that you didn't make the same mistake again, but given that these kits were supposedly shipped as you claim without notification or discussion with the buyers prior to sending them makes you look seriously dirty at a minimum. Otherwise the only other explanation is you are inexcusably ignorant on how to conduct basic business transactions. Either way, it makes you a questionable vendor.

Before we get the usual "Team is just hating on MM" excuse making, lets get several things clear on my personal dealings with you. Back in early 2010 you posted a need for a pair of rotor housings and I sent you a pair of low mileage ones for free, including the shipping. You didn't ask this of me, I just did it on my own volition. I took your Cobb AP webinar twice, including drumming up the attendees for the second one, just to help you out when I didn't need to take even the first one. I may have my forum disagreements with you or hold your feet to the fire when I feel it's appropriate, but those aren't the actions of someone who despises you, hates you, or whatever other kind of untruthful "out to get you" accusation can be made up.

As an individual enthusiast I respect your ability, but as a commercial vendor you have managed to relegate yourself to the bottom of the barrel all on your own. I will never have any dealings again with you again as a vendor. There's no forgiveness for people who don't come clean and I'm personally convinced that you are a long ways away from being considered 100% trustworthy. I'm not alone in this conviction.

In the interests of not turning this into the same thing as your thread...why don't you stay out of it and let Jeff and Luc post in this one

You dont know where you sent a turbokit? No tracking number or other info?

You never replied to any of his 1.5 years worth of email this man sent to you explaining that you lost his kit? Really? And you expect any reasonable individual to believe any of this? Or that ERX8 is a scammer when you sent him a turbokit you will not instigate a claim for? Seriously? I cant believe any of this, but fortunately for me, I dont need to and am glad I am not involved.

Or, do I need to bring up your past again?

Feel free to bring up the past, its your only card.
In fact its one of the only cards you ever play- deflect onto others, heap crap on them to take the spotlight off of you, make crappy excuses about how you supposedly "forgot" where you sent a turbokit worth how many thousands of dollars?

Even in your reply you fail to address the key points, so I will help you focus:

>>>How exactly did you manage to ship a turbokit, worth thousands of dollars without knowing exactly where you sent it?

>>>Moreover- WHERE is the tracking number? Will it take you two months and moderator intervention to produce the tracking number?

>>>Why exactly did you not reply to 1.5 years worth of email and other communication, including several fervent pleas on this public forum, before deciding to finally answer? And why not just PM him months ago?

Go ahead Jeff, bring up my past- its not going to make these questions go away.

EDIT- And dont worry, you will have plenty of time to plan your attack, as I am out of town for the next week or so at PRI and testing the new Challenger race car down South.

Please guys.

My intention was not to start a thread to relaunch accusations once again.

Please : let this thread clean as I want to communicate with Jeff via this thread. All the others (not involved in the case) can watch, but please don't start to throw treats and menaces at each others face.

THANK YOU ALL.

Luc

About whether or not people get the shaft on their hard-earned mod money? I do because it could have easily been me rather than them. I also bother to for the same reason.

Glad I read these damn threads, was going to conduct business with MM, but good thing I didn't. Because MM, everyone is out to get you, all these "scammers" in your eyes are in it together, it's not the shitty way you conduct your business. Don't really care your response either, I won't read it. Have a good day sir.
