^Yes i did look at the pictures, and for someone like greddy, who has 100 PM's every night, and ships i dont even know how many parts out a day, it would be very easy to miss the bend in the wheels. He drove the car before he sold everything, and the wheels were useable then... And he was most likely assured by the one whom he bought the car from, that everything he was planning on selling were in good working order. So, maybe he did overlook the wheels, and maybe he should have been more careful as to what quality of parts he was selling, but that doesn't make it right to try to turn everyone on this site against him.

Still, Greddy gave you a good deal in the first place...Most people sell their wheels for $450 + shipping. When i shipped my wheels, it cost me $200. And greddy only charged you $100. So, you ended up paying $550 for the wheels. Since he gave you back $150 to cover the cost of the 2 bent wheels. I would say that $550, including shipping, is a good deal for wheels.

I am not basing my opinion on anything the PURCHASER has said...just the responses that he received from the SELLER.

As already stated..." he has made the bed he is lying in"

Man up....and make it go away in a manner that will leave everyone with the RIGHT impression

Just my 2cents....

he paid 100 for shipping ( cost about 130 to ship) and i refunded 150. He has 220 in a set of four wheels shipped, yes one is bent pretty bad, one is bent in one place i guess, and one has a slight "wobble" so... ?

the only one arguing here is you. you're the one who keeps escalating the situation. didn't you instruct me not to PM you anymore??

stop trying to make me out to be a bad guy.

grow up.

i think it's the attitude by which you handle a bad complaint that is not right. now, i don't know if he ever agreed to the 150 bucks, or did u just send it? should have never sent out bent rim in the 1st place
and coulda handled it a lot better.

damn ppl posting fast, if greddy is complying and its just not worth it, just drop it then. u've got 4 wheels for 100bucks it seems and that is already a steal.

the way i see it now is, it was agreed upon to sell 4 functional wheels that is not bend.

product not as described.

greddy charges 100 + shipping. (correct me)

refunds 150.

if that is wat it is.. this is good deal already, u've got 4 wheels for basically free.

xtmesisx. How much did you end up paying for the wheels, including the repair cost?

Paypal him the $50...if he doesn't want it....donate it to charity and leave it alone

That won't leave any room for complaints with what has been said in all the posts.

Another 2 cents

That's fine,I am an outsider looking in and I have not seen your behavior as being an upstanding salesman or doing good buisness. So I myself would not buy anything from you and if someone I know was going to purchase something from you I would direct them to this thread.

Were you on some form of mind altering drug or do you have an eyesight problem? You can see the bends a mile away.

You come across as a scam artist to me.........and a terrible buisness man.

i wasnt aware of the bends until he got the wheels and contacted me. We have gone over this. And yes he "preferred the partial refund"

greddy, just post the following:

original total payment by xtm
originial shipping paied by xtm.

that was for 4 working rims, just work it out to what shipping 1 working rim, 1 unbalanced (i bet lightly bent) rims, and 2 rims needing heavily repair not drivable would cost. then adjust accordingly, as xtm was gonna pay shipping anyway.

I have had a similar problem in the past with a customer......the work was done..and for whatever reason the customer wasn't happy. The person never complained to me at all, about anything...he reported it to the governing body of the professional organization that I belong. They had him come in..checked the work..and they found nothing wrong with it.......In fact they said it was better than "standard of care"

After all that...I still refunded ALL of the persons money. I know...legally I wasn't responsible for the problem....it wasn't even reasonable ...but the money went back so I could feel good about how I handled it...It had nothing to do with the other person at all....

I have been reading this forum for over a year and decided to join today to post a comment. This transaction is ridiculous and of course you will stick up for someone you know personally.I know an internet scam when I see one.Refund the guy for the bent wheels to the tune of $50 more since that would be fair or send him 2 good wheels........that is an easy fix for the situation.

well if i were to just throw money at him i feel like i would be at a loss now because of my new bad reputation that will lose so much money for the rest of my time remaining here. But, i understand what you mean. Hes going to fix them probably to perfect condition, which is not what he paid for anyway, and try to justify refunding and other request from me. And i still havnt seen the other supposedly bent wheels. Just one that was a **** wheel to begin with that had scratches on the spokes.
