NEGATIVE: stigma8 / Horace Parkinson / Nakeisha Estrada
This person went by the forum name stigma8. His real name is apparently Horace Parkinson and he is from Ridgewood/Brooklyn NY area. He uses his (apparently) girlfriend Nakeisha Estrada's paypal account and email address nakeishaestrada@gmail.com and his email address is horaceparkinson@gmail.com .
I've had 3 transactions with this joker, none of them went smoothly, and I received much less than described in 2 of them.
The first was a rear iron I bought a couple months back for $140 plus my own shipping label. He was hard to deal with and slow at shipping, but eventually the part did arrive. IT was terribly packed in a box twice the size of the part with no padding in the box and was hanging out of a box when it arrived. It was not in as-described condition as there was more-than-average surface wear, but it was fair enough to let it slide. When I complained about the pisspoor packaging he told me to shut up, told me that I sound like his ex gf, and next time I should "send packaging material" if I didnt like his.
(I originally had a few pics of the damaged box but eventually deleted them).
The second was the 2 rotor housings for $350, they looked decent in his picture but it was not very detailed so I knew I was taking a chance. When they showed up one of them had significant damage from previous apex seal failure that made it not usable. I only took a chance buying from him because of the high demand for them and how hard they are to find.

When I pointed out the damage discrepancy, he tried to claim that IRP built an engine with those housings, that he bought and later tore down. I later talked to Ihor from IRP and he said that he did not build any engine with those housings, he did not sell stigma8 any engine at all, but he did sell stigma8 ONE housing "out the door" and it did not look like either of the 2 stigma8 sold me. There is also a post by stigma8 praising Omar at OJ imports in texas for the awesome engine he built plus the fact that you do not have to supply a core to him. I think the guy bought a shitty rebuild from some random person, bought some more parts, tried to make 2 out of 1, failed, sold all the failed junk parts to me and other people on the forum, and bought the rebuild from Omar/OJI.
Stigma8 was also offering another "good" set of irons for sale. He sent me some pics full of flash glare without much detail, but they looked okay from a distance. He offered to give me one of the irons he was selling for free in exchange for the bad rotor housing, and since I needed irons anyway I bought the other 2 for 300 more. Again this was really a little too high for 2 irons, but if they were in good condition it would be worthwhile because I really need the parts badly.
I paid for the irons on sep 18. October rolls around and I ask where the hell my irons are. Stigma replies in a PM oct 1 that "the irons went out this week" because he was out of town and his GF "forgot" to ship them. I ask for tracking and am ignored. A couple days later on Oct 6 I file a paypal claim. Suddenly my irons show up a couple of days later Oct 9. The date on the shipping label is Oct 7. Hmmm.

pics of the "good" irons. Irons are damaged on the faces, partially from shipping but mostly from previous rebuild attempts/apex seal failure. 2 of the 3 of them are not reusable. They may not even be salvageable by resurfacing.

After I filed the paypal claim, I received the following communication from him.
I respond:
He responds again.
At that point I had no more time to waste on him so I just stopped responding.
As of today paypal reviewed the claim and found that I am entitled to a refund upon return of the items, so I'll send them out and we'll see what happens. That's more than I could have hoped for, but I guess it was hard for them to ignore all of my documentation versus this retard's methods of communication and selling.

Sending me your leftover junk parts from your failed build does not equate to "helping me out". If anyone has concerns about a scam, it is me. So far I have paid you $650 for 5 "good" parts (2 rotor housings, 3 irons) and of those 5 only 2 were actually usable (1 housing, 1 iron). So now $650 for 2 parts that are actually worth about 300 by themselves does not look like you've helped me very much does it?

Those edge u claim to be damaged are fine just the way they r u are clearly nip picking because u didn't get your package as fast as u wanted to. U ain't gonna scam me and get my money. +1 to this. I ordered a part from him two weeks ago and then noted that this seller was sketchy. He continued to ignore my tracking info requests but would gladly present me with new pictures of parts I may be interested it.
Then when I saw RIWWP close his thread and warn about his potential scams, I opened a paypal claim as well. Same thing, my package just happened to show up three days later with the label showing he sent it two days before.
In response to me opening a paypal claim he responded with, "hey man I received ur package y is the paypal claim still open?"
Considering he sent me something I'm not sure if his heads on right.
Besides that I'm actually surprised he sent me the correct part because all I was going on was a schematic with the part I was purchasing circled. Came with no wrapping or anything to protect it but in the end I suppose I at least got what I paid for.

Thanks for the thread RR, glad to see you should be able to get something back.
As a heads up to everyone else, the staff originally removed Stigma8's right to PM, to force him to do business out in the open. However his response to this was basically that "the rules don't apply to me" and "I can bypass the rules by getting another member ID". So I banned him permanently.
Not just from this, but because it was the final straw considering the difficulties I have had in the past with him violating classifieds rules about multiple threads and other advertising methods.
Fortunately, with the new member rules he can't just "simply get a new ID" because of the post count and waiting period to re-sell on the classifieds, however he may still attempt it at some point. So keep an eye out for any repeating parts shipped by the same name under a different ID, and report it if you see it.

Yay for me, paypal actually ruled in my favor and refunded the $300 for the junk irons. But, I had to spend $60 sending them back first. To my knowledge the seller never responded other than what was written above.
That *still* doesnt cover the $175 I lost on the one junk rotor housing he sent me before that, though.

Yeah, his PM communication to me was loaded with that type of amusing "insult" that only an immature e-thug makes. They always show their true colors when they are faced with someone that doesn't just bow to their wishes.
