As some of you may know I have had previous dealings with him which did not go according to plan and as a result I posted a "use caution in dealings with" thread about him. I still stand by the opinions I expressed in that thread.

However I wanted to come back and post about a more recent experience, again in total honesty.

About a year ago I bought all the AT to MT swap parts for my rx8 from him, all from one donor car. Recently I performed the swap on my car, but had small issues with the ABS system from my car refusing to communicate and work with the new MT pcm that I transplanted.

Patrick apparently saw the thread where I mentioned this, and offered to supply the matching ABS module from the same car that all the other parts came from. We worked out a mutually beneficial deal and he quickly sent the unit to me, which did in fact solve the problem on my swap.

In spite of the failed deals prior, I am cautiously optimistic that this might mark a new start for a mutually beneficial business relationship between us in the future. At very least, I give him props for taking it upon himself to come back in a mature manner and complete a transaction as agreed.

dang i just noticed this. I never meant to "wrong-do" anyone. Just mixed feelings towards a particular event. No sense in dwelling over bad experiences

Now Kevin, about that bigger oven.... :P
