Undecided: TurboXS...
Here is my experience with them so far.. I ordered my RX8 exhaust and race pipe from them on November 27th. I received an email from them shortly after informing me that the exhaust was on back order and they would receive some around December 10th. So I waited. On December 10th I had not heard anything from them so I decided to call.
A lady named Stephany picked up almost immediately. She was very nice and helpful and said that it had been discontinued, but they were bringing it back due to high sales volume. This struck me as odd.. If they were discontinued or on back order, why is this information not mentioned on the website? Also it even says they are available. She told me they would have some on the 21st and they would ship it to me immediately.
I called again on the 21st and she said she apolagized and that they won't get it in until the 22nd, and they may or may not get around to shipping it by the end of the 22nd. This would mean, she explained, that I would have to wait until sometime in January to receive my exhaust..
I still haven't received it nor can I get a hold of the company anymore. I'm a patient man I just really want this thing to come in and I'm starting to wonder if I just had my money taken. I don't know anything about TurboXS or if they are a trust worthy company and I payed through paypal.. So if anybody has heard anything like this about them please let me know.

i was just about to say to email their vendor that is here on the board..... but i just noticed that their vendor threads have been wiped clean....... I personally would start a paypal claim, especially since they don't answer anymore

Weird, they just posted up about the headers and the thread is still showing up but not in their vender forum. They have a pretty good rep and have been around a while, I wonder what is going on. Then again, with the holidays upper management tends to be out and the employees do whatever they want.

Does their web page note any closing and reopening times for the holiday's ?
I just checked, they will reopen 1/3/2012, it says 2011, guessing it's a typo .instead of ragging on them, searching would have provided you with an answer.

Oh yeah, I see it now it says they'll be back on the 3rd. But still nowhere has it ever said the exhaust was on backorder. I'll just wait till the third and see what happens.

RESOLVED: Okay so TurboXS just sent me an email saying my exhaust has been shipped :D. And they weren't even supposed to get back until the 3rd of January so that makes me happy.

Yeah that's understandable. The only complaint would be that TurboXS failed to indicate anywhere on the website that the RX8 exhaust was on back-order. Even after I had ordered it and they had sent the email saying it was on back-order, the website still said in green text "available". So That's my only complaint. All is well though the exhaust gets here on the 4th so I don't mind anymore lol
