Grand-Am @ New Jersey Motorsports Park May 1-3, 2009

Come out and particpate in our first New Jersey MAzda Corral!

The exotic Daytona Prototypes and thundering GT cars lead the Grand-Am Rolex Series’ second visit to New Jersey Motorsports Park. The series, now under NASCAR ownership, will feature both classes on Thunderbolt Raceway simultaneously, creating twice the action. The Rolex Series features some of the top teams in motorsports, including Chip Ganassi Racing, Penske Racing, and 2008 race winner Michael Shank Racing, along with drivers David Donohue, Scott Pruett, Oswaldo Negri, Alex Gurney and Grey’s Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey. Also on the schedule is the Grand-Am KONI Sports Car Challenge, the SCCA SPEED World Challenge GT and Touring classes, and the Ford Mustang Challenge.

So come out and cheer the RX8's of SpeedSource, Racers Edge, Dempsey/Hypersport Racing in the GT Class. Also, the KONI teams of Freedom Autosport, Meyer Motorsports, Maxwell paper, Pirate Motorsports and more, get access to all of the teams, drivers and crews.

We have a lot of special events planned and we'll also have Parade Laps as well. Here is the schedule of eents and ticket information.

I won't be able to make it this year with VIR the week before, but it is a great place.

I wish I could make it to NJ but not being home for 2 weekends in a row is to much for the home life. Other than the dust, last year at NJMP was great. I have some photos of it here somewhere.

The house at LRP sounds great. I might have a friend going with me though. If he does not then I will definitely buy in on it. I'll let you know soon. hopefully within a week from now.
