Mine arrived today, I have no qualms about the packaging. When people were saying newspaper I was kinda worried, but it was sent inside a bubble mailer which offers plenty of protection.
I'll put it on tonight and take pics.

I just installed mine. The results are in! They look amazing! I didn't even realize that they matched the blue dash lights so well until I saw them.
Thanks Mr. Rash! You make good LEDs!

Finally got around to installing them today! I'll have pics tonight after I get home from work.
Instructions were great; my only difficulties were that I originally hooked into the red-blue wire instead of the blue-red wire (found the red-blue first, and didn't dig for the blue-red like I should have). This resulted in the LEDs flashing on and off whenever I locked the doors! That, and being left-handed under the steering wheel made it very difficult to crimp those blasted splicers. The splicers are a great thing; they certainly beat old-fashioned splicing, but I felt like a contortionist trying to crimp them with my left hand.
Spiffiest thing is how they fade out with the rest of the cabin lights! I went ahead and replaced my door lights with red ones to match and not drown the LEDs out so much.

pics!
Wow, these were dark pictures; can't hardly make out the steering wheel! Overall I think this was just perfect! The only thing I might go back and adjust is the passenger side light; I think I tightened it a tad too much, as I think it is slightly arched now to point the light towards the door a bit more than I may like, but that's being VERY nitpicky. You'll also notice in one of the shots that I have changed the color of the door lights; I think it works very well with the footwell lights.

more pics...
Here's some more; I had a hard time figuring out some good angled shots to take. Flashless night pictures with my camera are very difficult to take without blur.
RR, I commend you on putting the effort into making these and hope you make some good money because of it; these footwell LEDs belong in everyones RX-8. I forsee a steady demand of them.

are you running a scanalyzer on an aftermarket screen?

Yup, I also have navigation on it too, but I felt it better to show off the sCANalyzer here instead ; that's the JDM retractable tray with a 7" transflective Lilliput touchscreen - the hardware is in the glovebox. I am half-tempted to theme the OS to a more reddish nature to match the rest of the interior lights!

There is nothing I like more than hearing good reviews. I honestly think that this is one of the things that the car should have come with from the factory.

I installed the front LEDS with my husband only tightening the wire splice. I told him if anyone was going to screw anything up on my car that it would be me. I did all the wire work; THANKS TO YOUR EASY INSTRUCTIONS...Plus I fit easily under the dash. I don't and can't imagine how you guys do it. I just bearly fit under there!!
I installed my rears all by myself without any help at all...that's how good your instructions were. One thing...there are 2 blue/black wires. I used the smaller of the 2 and it worked.
The rears will probably go under my front seat in the front. Will decide later when it gets dark. Will post picks of that too. The instructions were so easy & I'm a female!!
The blues are brighter...
Thank you so much once again...
