I zoom therefore I am.
that's how old Jedi is. Most of the parts on his car were made by people who stopped making them long ago.

Didnt see this asked in the thread, and if I missed it...sorry. I had heard that when replacing bulbs with LEDs, specifically in the interior domelight location, that you lose the fading effect. True or bogus?

yup, still fade.

Im aware of the fast blinking when you replace the turn signals w/o using voltage regulators. Would the slow fading ones be effected the same way? Is there any concern with the bulbs that dont blink or flash?

i meant resistor
the fast blinking is caused by the difference is current a LED draws then stock bulb.. so your car thinks the turn signal is burnt out when it's not. The flickering in other applications is a different issue

Ok, so if Im understanding you correctly, I could still have flickering with LEDs in non blinking locations....such as the side markers or position lights up front?

yep. doesnt happen to everyone and usually means you'll need a resistor in the line. Lots of the led sites sell them. I'm currently running my parking lights and all interior lights on LED without any flicker and I'm NOT using any resistors.

Yep, I agree you may or may not have it and I am also one that has no noticable flicker without any resistors.
BTW..........some LED's come with the resistor already there, but most do not. Also, watch out for that third brake light if you decide to try and change that to LED, if I remember right................it is notorious for causing issues with the ABS/DCS circuit.
