Well given that you're disputing how I am using the word friend and not what I said around it I offer this rebutal:
Define the term friend:
Friend -
1. A person with whom one is allied in a struggle or cause; a comrade.
2. One who supports, sympathizes with, or patronizes a group, cause, or movement
Based on the attendance of this group it can be argued that we are Friends in that we all support each other's interest in the RX8 and also share other common interests as well. It's also a given that it is highly unlikely that anyone that did not enjoy or value the comradery of this particular group that they would continue attendance or communication.
Counter Argument to my own arguments
1. A person whom one knows, likes, and trusts.
While the above may be true it could also be said that not everyone likes or trusts everyone equally in the group. That of course can be expected given the complexity of friendship and the ever increasing amount of people you add to a group. Obviously the cut off is different depending on the person.
I personally will count this group of people among my "friends".

* tell a joke; speak humorously; "He often jokes even when he appears serious"

I know...I was kidding...It's just that there's always the assumption that I'm a guy when I post anything...I guess it works out better that way though...Being a woman makes me inferior in the forum for some reason.
#37
It's safer to assume everyone is a guy that you haven't met yet, lol.

Well this is a particularly large and diverse board, that may be the case in other areas (though which I'm not sure) but is not the case around here. Skill and knowledge are what we value. Most of the leg humper crew is on the general discussion side of the board. This crew is mainly mid to late 20's with a few exceptions on either side. One question for you since you are posting in this thread, are you planning on coming to the meet?

Some of us exceptions are futher down the exception side than others.... Agewise, anyway. Maturity/Fun level.. well, we are all about the same age.

Cool, generally speaking we try to park as far back in the lot as possible so we can park together. Will try to hang out by the cars first so we are easy to find and send someone in to get a table (most likely myself)

From an entertainment standpoint, I think it's hilarious! But I'm sure it's quite a pain for you.
Anyways, welcome to the club and we'll see you on Friday.
