[DFW] - Tire Suggestions

I was wondering what you guys might recommend for new tires. Turns out my car has had a slight mis-alignment and was destroying my front right tire. When I had them rotated last time, they thought it was just that tire and didn't do anything for it. So now I have two tires on my car that are showing cord and two more that are pretty close to bald.

So...what should I get?

And I know I could ask this in the suspension section or whatever it is...but there's so many people who post up there who have no idea what they're talking about, I'd rather hear from people I actually know.

Just about all of the other DFW crew is on Khumo ecsta SPT's. They are a good tire IMO and have a pretty high treadwear rating for the grip they give.

I went through 2 sets of Toyo Proxes 4 tires in 2 years, excellent tires but they don't last long. My current set is yokohama yk520, not the same level of grip but they sure last a lot longer. They've been on almost 2 years and still have good tread left. Would I buy them again probably not, there's nothing wrong with them but there are better performing tires out there. I needed a tire that was going to last and not something I would burn through in a years time so I got these. That gets expensive buying a set of tires every year.

the ecsta spt's are great until halfway through their threadlife. i have the dirrezza star specs. a bit of overkill. but working at discount tire i got a good deal. my next set will be goodyear eagle GT's. time for some all season/ long life tires instead of summers.

I have Nitto Invo. Quiet, good ride, look great, pretty good in rain, decent in dry.
