[Houston] December Club Meeting – Tuesday, December 7, 2004
Join your fellow rotary enthusiasts at our December club meeting!
Each meeting brings all the dependable friends we've grown to know and trust, as well as many new faces and cars to join the group! Thank you to each one of you, for making this happen. We look forward to the renewed spirit, continued growth, camaraderie and exciting opportunities in the coming year.
A special thank you to all that attended last nights meeting. Your response to the food & needs drive for Casa de Esperanza de los Niños was overwhelming. Make sure to check out our special “thank you” and the itinerary for dropping off the goods, if you’d like to participate. We hope to get some pictures, so the more the merrier…plus there’s TONS to carry in!!!
If you didn't make it out, PLEASE make sure you come to the December meeting as it is a VERY special one. December brings our "3rd Annual Toys for Tots Drive” Please try to commit to bringing as many toys as you can, remember you’re helping to brighten a child’s Christmas morning. In addition to helping out children in the area, you will also be eligible for prizes! This is our biggest event of the year, which is supported with donations from various vendors in the area. In the past we’ve had authentic Mazda rotary watches, books, clothes, and much more! Be sure to come out and participate for your chance to win!! For more information about Toys for Tots, please feel free to visit: www.toysfortots.org
When bringing toys, please remember:
ü Each toy must be NEW in original packaging (please no gift wrap)
ü Each toy must be valued at $5 (or more) to get entry into the prize drawing. (If you bring an item valued at $15, you will get 3 entries, etc. Receipts are not needed)
ü The more toys you bring, the more entries you get, the more you could win!!!
This is going to be a great meeting! It's always fun doing things children, PLUS members of the United States Marine Corp will be on site to show there appreciation and support for our efforts. Let’s show them how much we appreciate them and their efforts!!! Bring your cameras, appetites & donations!

I haven't gotten a good headcount, people are being lazy again and not posting their intentions...
However we have been having 15-25 (20-40 people) cars at recent meetings.
Typically this is one of the years largest meetings.
(don't forget to bring a toy (or multiple toys)

Just a final reminder about tomorrow's meeting. We will be at Freebird's at 7PM (come early stay late!) and will have the drawing for prizes around 8 PM!
I checked the weather and things look to clear out by early or mid-morning and we should have clear skies in the evening.
Be sure to come out and support our U.S. Marine Corps who will be in attendance as well.
See you there!
Keith ~ Club President
NOTE: If you need any details, please email me ASAP all emails recieved by 3pm will be returned before 4pm.
