There's a regular meeting held in Addison on Thursday nights at BJ's and it sounds like a lot of members attend. I don't know any specifics off-hand, but I'm sure someone can fill you in. Welcome to the club!

I livein Dallas, work in Garland. I've had my car for two months and think I've seen a total of six others on the road in that time. However, there's three (!!) where I work. One guy got a Ti Grey about a week before I got my Silver and we park pretty close to each other. And there's a black in the next lot over. I need to find out who those folks are and meet 'em. And point them to this forum if they don't know about it already.

I am in Allen, so not far at all, the BJ's get together is cool, it is at 7:30 most thursdays. Ajax will post on the weeks it happens.
That car stereo shop and Bueno is at Parker and Independence, used to be ALOT of rice up there, it started out as the Camaro/Mustang crowd, then the cut coil springs to lower, non- painted ground effects, 6 foot wing, more neon than Vegas hondas took over. Haven't been by there in a long time, maybe it has changed again...

I drove by, didn't seem like most of the guys were all that friendly. I saw a variety of cars, i.e New Preludes, 02' Jetta, Datsuns, and a few crotch rockets.

Hello KNIGHT, I'm actually just North of you, north of Parker and Dublin. I'm 53. I've had my share of Triumph and MG sport cars in the past and now that I have my kids out on their own, I've decided to satisfy my yearning for another sports car and the RX8 certainly fills that need. I've had it for a little over two months now and I'm enjoying the car to no end.

but still... HARDLY EVER ARE THEY BLACK!... oh well.. makes mine stand out more.. i personally think black is the SINGLE BEST coloer when clean i live off the tollway near george bush..

I have a black 8' too, I don't know if you know. I agree though, black is the best color when clean. It gets really dirty really fast though! Ever notice how the slightest touch of the paint shows fingerprints.

My old car was black and I had the problem with dirt and stuff so that's why I didn't get black again. But I'd have to disagree with you guys that black is the best color. When I was buying my car, I looked at the line-up of colors and the only color that won me over was red! (Although the black came in a close second.)
