Any feedback on Hiley in Hurst svc dpt?

Purchased my Pearl White '05 at Hiley in Arlington, much better sales service than the dealership in Hurst. They were able to trade for the only Pearl White/black leather RX8 being delivered in a 5 state region with all the factory installs I wanted (maxed of course ) while the Hurst store was still digging around to find answers to questions I asked the week before. Took possesion 23 days after order, two weeks of which were used to install the rest of the add ons. They made sure my car got the first parts available for the Pearl White at port - high volume dealer, seem to have some dealing power. Great follow-up sales service, very satisfied with them.

But... I live in NRH and drive by Hiley in Hurst every day, considering using their service department for convenience - can anyone share their experience with using them?

I bought my car in hurst at hiley and i live in plano. I go to hurst for all of my major service. That's 55 miles that I drive just for service. I got a great deal on my Ti and they were very knowledgeable when I bought. Their service dept is great and very helpful. Congrats on the new car. Hope to see you at the meets every month or the weekly meets if you want.

i live in NRH and got my 8 at hurst. Had no problems what-so-ever. and as for the service department...there is a reason Ajax drives 55 miles to go there...HE'S CRAZY!!!...no j/k. the service department is excellent!!! been nothing but helpful for me and i go in for every little noise i hear! might have to meet up sometime. i would love to see a fully loaded white 8. i live over in the extates of NRH so you might see me driving around all the time in my blue 8 with CF hood. i work at gators in euless so thats the only other place i might be!

congrats on your 8!

Red face

Thanks for all the great feedback!

Bet I've seen you MrEd - I live off of Rufe Blows street :-) but almost never drive it due to construction! Work in Irving but kids school in Euless, watch for me and wave!

Was going to wait for my clear corners (shipped yesterday) and application of Zaino (arrived yesterday) to post pics - also saving $$$ for either gunmetal or diamond black wheels... so I guess consider these the before shots. Tried to get a close up of the gorgeous paint. Sorry the sun wasn't in a good spot in these shots. My hubby is the photographer, I just dashed off some quick pics for the fam far away.... so be kind

The manager at Hiley of Arlington was very rude to me when I was about to buy my RX-8. I went to Hurst and I felt so welcomed there.

Thanks MrEd :D

Had just the opposite experience Bankostu, guess it depends on who you talk to. The Fleet Sales Manager was who I talked to, name is Chris Nunn, great service! Went over the car with me on pickup and has called 3 times to see how it's going and see if I had any questions. Sounds like I got the off salesman in Hurst, more good than bad stories there for sure. They will get my service business anyway...

I'll get my car serviced at the Arlington one even though I had a bad experience. I am too lazy to drive 25 minutes to Hurst lol.

Will try to make the meet on Saturday - may end up having to work now so we don't miss a deadline... yuck!

Tinting would look nice... who tinted yours and did you have any negative effects with the built in antennae?

I've had nothing but great service from Hiley in Hurst. In fact i was there on Friday getting a oil change and a clickity-click sound taken out of my door hinge. When I checked in at the service desk the writer ran my vin and then much to my surprise asked me if I had the squealing brake problem. I told him I did and he asked me what I wanted to do about it...new pads won't be in until Dec just in case anybody else can't stand the squeal.

I've always had great service each visit.

One word of caution though, and I think this is happening at Mazda dealerships all over, is that if you get your oil changed make sure to tell them that it WON'T take the full required amount of oil to refill your car as the oil in the coolers doesn't drain. So far Hiley is 0 for 2 on this one. lol
