Hi all,
I'm really considering going to the AutoX event in bedford at pennington field on the 30th, anyone here going to go?
I've never been to any event like that, and would be a total n00b.
I know i need to get a helmet, thats about it. How do i register? or do I just show up with my entry fee money?

1935 lbs. FTW!
I'm not sure about pennington but I'm going to the BMWCCA event this saturday, you're welcome to tag along if you want and watch/get a ride. I'm going to be driving the S2000 though instead.

The July 30th race is with ER.
You will not need to bring you helmet... just be considerate of others and bring your own headsock. They'll have helmets there you can use for free. Eventually your gonna wanna buy your own tho.
Arive at least an hour and a half early to register early at the event, and pay in cash there. I think its either $30 or $35... i dont remember. After that you'll have plenty of time to, go through tech-inspection, walk the course, and also go through the novice walk-through (i believe ER does that).
Bring a few extra dollars for lunch.
Bring your own cooler and drinks if you can.
Bring a lot of sunblock spray/lotion.
Bring painters tape to put your numbers and class letters on.
Take your floor mat out at home before you come.
Don't have anything in your car that you can't take out before your runs.
Thats pretty much it. Oh, and a tire pressure gauge is useful if you have one.
Also... once you get there most everyone is really friendly. Have fun and let us know how it goes.

I'm remembering the look you gave me when I handed you the loaner helmet I just finished wearing in 95 degree weather... Sorry man.
