According to the transportation code, blue or red lights other than certain ones are no no's, that being said everything else should be fair game. Will post more on this later as this has come up before in DFW.

post 15 is what you should look at.
That being said My fender lights are a VERY dim purple led. I have yet to be pulled over for them, HOWEVER, The jew has been pulled over for lighting. I advised him before hand to print out section of the transportation code and keep it on him for douche bag cops. Sure enough he showed the officer that there was nothing against the law with his lighting and the cop let him go. Your mileage may vary. I accept no liability or any other responsibility for this if you were to get in trouble So use my advice at your own risk :P

i have 8k HID's
UV bulbs
white turn signals
20% tint
and have never been pulled over for a mod, only for speeding
but every time my radar goes off I never show my turn signals and I turn on my HID's with my parking lights so the UV looks faint..
anyways, no I have not been pulled over for mods.

Most of the time my friend wants to go find all these rich little kids with daddy's car and put them to shame...

I actually have talked to cops about the License plate thing. The law states it cannot sit on your dash. A bit of advice to me was put the plate on the window a few inches from the dash with suction cups. That being said I have never been pulled over in my car or any red car I have even owned.

ya i think it just depends on the cop. i know several people who keep it in the dash without problems. I keep mine offset and to the right to get the check in the box for being legal but not buckteeth on my grill.
