I am considering painting my calipers and rotor hubs. Would it even be possible to do that on all four wheels in one day, with all that is involved (wheel removal, prep, paint, dry, wheel install)?

I would recommend letting it dry for quite some time before driving it. I started to do mine at the last install meet, but decided to wait until I could let them dry for a while.

spring compressor? Not needed... just stand on them and point it towards a wall.

Sam, what springs are you putting on?

just ordered my sub and amp. they'll be here anywhere between thursday and early next week depending on when they're shipped. I'll let you guys know if I can wait long enough to install them at the party. Not sure if I'll be able to though as having stuff sitting in the living room is like torture for me :b

I might show up anyway just to help out though.

8 is enough,
I had the tein s tech, and liked them. Danny has them now. I currently have sprint springs, but thinking about going back to the tein line with either coilovers or back to s techs.

On my last 2 cars, when we did the springs/shocks we were at a shop with a spring compressor, but didn't bother with it. Standing on them isn't "safe", but if you are pointed towards a wall... its not so dangerous either. Its also A LOT faster.

Has anyone here done, or recommend doing the throttle body bypass mod? It seems like a good idea but the DIY instructions weren't very clear to me. Last summer I felt like my car drove sluggishly when it was really hot out.
