This is late in coming, but I have a full Racing Beat polished stainless steal header to muffler system on my '89 convertible with a K & N filter on cold air intake. It's audible at all speeds but not harsh, too loud or annoying, just smooth & mellow. I have heard the other better than stock systems & they seemed a little metallic or buzzy, lacked a pleasant audible sound or were just too loud without the quality or mellow tone I prefer. It's not brand predjudice; I shopped for sound. Try RacingBeat.com for more details. Listen to my system on any event on our calendar.

the overpasses are sweet...I've been driving recently without the radio on at all...it sounds just that good...
with careful throttling, I can keep it nice and quiet...under load the thing simply screams "DOOORRRIITTTOOOSSS!!!"
haa haa
have I mentioned that I like the Rev8? butt dyno also indicates slight increase in power...I no longer have to downshift when driving in 6th up a particular hill near my house...might be the cold air tho...
