Yah, didn't mean to confuse anything. I couldn't go because I have a prior engagement.... not because it's closed.

anyone heading out to the meets tonight? A couple of us are probably going to do the tour of parking lots, 1431 and then possibly 183/360 afterwards. Hope to see some of y'all out there.

Yeah man, what time at 1431? I might try to head over. I must have been missing the last couple of meets...went by there and nobody was around.

yessir, it's been a pretty awful last couple of months to be honest, but I refuse to let it get me down or be bummed, just more obstacles to beat down on the path to victory, and I will win damn it

O_O your radiator, howd that happen, I took my car back for second gear syncro being rough and that my clutch squeaks after getting a new motor....

dealer the squeak is normal cant fix it .... there wasn't one till you swapped the engine.

got a reply back from mm, my turbo has the flanges and stuff welded on, he has the soft parts on order waiting for those and the wg needs to have the bracket fabbed on, has my injectors on hand to be shipped with the turbo. aggg cant wait should be done pretty soon. I need new tires though so i may have to delay buying new couplers and the cobb. Being so close to done is realy sucking.

on a good note i have a cx7 rental i like it ^_^

canary good luck with the car, starting to wonder if the dealers here are just breaking stuff so you come back later, mine seems like that

yeah, they tried to get me to tow the car there yesterday, but wouldn't guarantee that they would fix it under warranty until after looking at it, said it would "probably" come back on them. Honestly, how else does something like that break unless someone had to mess with it? It's underneath everything and not like something you'd ever touch unless you had to, so how is this "probably" their fault, especially when I've noticed the coolant smell ever since getting the car back etc. ugh I ******* hate it when people do shitty work, or play games with customer service, irritating.

all the problems i get is dealing with the front desk person, last time i asked for a tech to come for a ride with me as soon as i got to the dealer, car was in the back being worked on as soon as we got back to the dealer.

the front desk people have issues with listening and relaying that to the techs, my car is at premier i don't trust roger beasly, they are the ones that told me they wont fix my front seat being squeaky because i had the back seats out ... then lied to mazda head quarter saying i had messed with the front seat. (i was in the process of installing a car pc at the time)

truth is they're all owned by Beasley anyway, I just think certain dealerships are run a little better than others, i've not heard much bad about premier, if I lived closer to it I'd be taking it there all the time.

Started the install today. Didnt get much done cause I was at the DMV for like 3 hours, then Im still waiting for some parts to come in, i.e. turbo and couplers. Depending on if anything comes in tomorrow, Ill prolly get the injectors in, turbo manifold (whether or not turbo is here) and maybe get the intercooler hung. Mazda definitely made this car so people wouldnt work on it! The intake has like 15 friggin hoses!! Lol!!!

Yep, took this week off to get it on. Just hoping I have/will have everything I need to get it done this week. I can get you a compression test prolly later this week if I get everything buttoned up. Right now my engine bay is missing a lot of parts! Lol!! You are more that welcome to come over anytime you want. I have to go to Houston on Wednesday but I should be home by 3 or 4, then its right back in the garage. Let me know if you ever wanna stop over. I am not planning on wrapping the turbo. I may try and find something locally if I can, but its a water cooled turbo, so it should be alright.

cool, i need to see how hard injectors are to do lol...the manifold install looks to be a bit of a pain to,

i am going a tad **** with heat transfer. PTP has a nice turbo blanket that may fit. ill go stop by there once i receive the the turbo, i think i got the last turbo mm is making O_O

my worry is the heat transfering into the floor (and more complaints of the floor being hot) along with soaking the heat soaking of the lower intake manifold. still havent ordered the cobb or the couplers for mine T_T god thinking of it ive been slowly building up the turbo for as long as ive had the car lol

Good call on seeing if PTP has a blanket. Ill see if I can find that in my outings tomorrow.

Edit: Holy crap, the PTP blanket is $150!! Not going to happen. Maybe Ill just put some thermo insulation on the firewall.

you can get it for a little cheaper on their ebay store lol.

considering the cost gone into the system i dont see it being to much. the water meth system is going to run $300ish. heat reflective should work, i was orgianal planing on being **** and wrap the pipe and reflective. but i think ill just stay with the wrapped as is cause i am lazy

lol a mm upgrade and a bnr upgrade in austin, some hidden beast are traveling among the sheep...
