I've been lurking the forum for a while now, however, I guess I don't check the regional forum as often as I should. I've just been discouraged by the lack of 8's in the new orleans area. Most of the discussions pertain to Texas. Velocity Blitz, I live near the Lakefront in Gentilly Terrace in between Franklin Ave. and Elysian Fields Ave. How about you? We should meet up on the Lakefront one weekend.

WHAT?!?!?! Not going to the BBQ b/c it's TOO FAR? I thought you were a REAL 8 owner and had to be PRYED out of your car at the end of the day and liked to DRIVE whenever you could!!!

Seriously, until this past month, there have been .5 8 owners in the New Orleans area. Please don't take offense, but I don't think you're going to get this many (45 cars/70 people and counting) rotary enthusiasts in your area anytime soon.
Please come and join us. You'll have fun, I swear! We just got Mazdaparts.com as a sponsor and there will be some VERY COOL goodies given away (I get to do the shopping :D ). Don't make me beg. It's not a pretty sight. :o
