bdc brian is a nice guy.... but i'm a different brian.... Hi nice to meet u.... and both of u like meatspin awesome ***** and u can't deny it..... my opinion on the matter...while i'm here is that its kinda hard to predict the future of a rotary engine even after 20k miles much less 100k ... each one is built by hand and there are so many things that could go wrong or get out of place or get looked over during the build process that if u don't have 110% or more of your attention going into what your doing with your hands then its just going to be one of those days.....not to mention all of the outside factors such as the climate we are in compared to up north or the desert.... and fuels and oils... "yes brandon i said oils so shut up" but are u getting what i'm saying....?

I give another vote to Classic in Denton. Ramsey knows my car by site (and I don't get the piddly stuff serviced there). He has taken good care of my car (mostly).

I'm assuming you mean things like oil changes? They kicked one of the three dealerships out that gave them an out of an exclusive oil contract and oil changes are alot cheaper there now. What else dont you have serviced there?

Transmission/differential/oil... basically, if I can do it, I do. You know that, so I'm not quite sure what you're trying to get at here.

When I have bigger issues, like getting my engine replaced for free even though it was my after market cat that caused it, or when the fan motors burnt out on my radiator, causing the radiator to crack and warp the res. tank, again, altered so it was covered under warranty.

The real point of me saying I don't get the piddly stuff done there, is that my car *isn't* there all the time, yet the service managers know my car and know me. Guess you didn't read that in what I said.

I was asking because I was honestly curious. I also didn't know you did most of that yourself. (I knew little brandon did though because always talks/bitches about it whereas I've never heard you mention maintence in a convo I've been a part of.)I thought you meant you take it someplace cheaper that wasnt the dealer. Lastly I didnt get that you were trying to imply that because your not there alot and that they still know you by name that their service was that good. I'm a pretty good reader and I did read all of your post, I was just having a blonde moment apparently

I took my car in this morning to Classic Mazda in Denton. Ramsey took care of me, had to replace coils on car, but compression checked out fine. I guess it is back to the drawing board, only 4k miles left until warranty is up!
