Do you think something like this would fit the rx8?

If i were you i would go to RadioShack and talk to a guy about what you want to do. I believe to run a switch you need about 10 ft of 16-18 guage wire (i really have no idea what size) to run the to the battery for the lights and the switch. then you will need a relay (RelaySwitch) to tap into another wire to turn the swith/leds on/off when the car turns on/off. (or something to that effect)

I tapped mine into my parking lights so that when they are on, my footwell light turn on.

you may want to do a little research about how to do it (here) and then go to radioshack to buy what you need.

Well we ended up getting an RP mide-pipe on, some footwell lights and 3/4 of Travis's springs on his car.

Who did the puddle lights? I was curious how difficult those are to put on. Oh, wait, did you mean the footwells? I got all excited...

Yeah, it was a good day, lots of things learned I think, glad I came, it was good to see everyone, sorry I couldn't help more!

We also did my pads after you left. Wish I would have known how easy it was to do because man it took like 30 mins to do both sets.

Havent heard a squeek yet either.

The flange is to big on the turboxs race-pipe so I am going to have to get a muffler shop to modify it for me.
