Good golly, it's already June, and it's time to head back to BJ's!

Details in case you haven't been or if your mind is just a little foggy... BJ's in Addison at 7:30pm this Thursday. They are located just west of the Tollway on Beltline (Google Street view), on the north side of the road. Several of us tend to park way down the east side of the building... just look for the exclusive RX-8 parking lot (by the brown object in the background of this shot).

If you're planning on coming out, please post accordingly and I will make reservations.

It's my birthday Well Wednesday but whatever...no drinking though

 

So let me get this straight... you're going to come out the day after your birthday, and expect to not do any birthday shots? you must be smoking something.

 

Haha, actually no drinking because I QUIT smoking-kinda goes hand in hand, wanna make sure I've totally kicked it...haha, like what I did there? but okay, if shots are put in front of me...and shockers are thrown...and pics are taken...

 

Good for you on quiting. As to the rest of it... well, I can't promise shenanigans won't happen.

 

Well of course they will, that's what we all show up for, right?! And thank you, it's bad enough now, I can't imagine how much it must suck for people who've been smoking for, like, 20 years! Geez.

My grandmother stopped cold turkey after almost 60 yrs of smoking more than a pack a day. something about being told she was going to die within 6 months if she didn't.

In the end though, it was smoking that killed her, as her organs gave up several years later because of the lessened capacity they had.

 

Wow, I'm sorry to hear that! But I guess it's no secret, right, it's horrible for you, there's nothing good about it! Haha, wow, I didn't mean for this to take over the thread, it's not that big of a deal in the grand scheme of RX8 bonding...shoulda just taken shots if they came on Thursday and not said anything!

 

It's been awhile, but I should be able to make it this time. I miss my RX8 peeps!!
