We'd been doing Kara and was about to move on to black temple, but it sucks right now.. most of my guild switched to Conan (unknown if temporary or not). It'd be one thing if it was some random group, but they are actually RL friends.

I have no idea what you guys are talking about. But on a random note, anyone wanna do the table top road rally with me? Anyone who is free sometime this week let me know, I kinda started it but would love a "navigator."

Any of you nerds play LOTR Online? I used to play Eve-online for 3 years (still have active accounts) but have recently moved to LOTR because my inlaws have a clan there on brandywine and its more fun to play with people you know.

I played it for a bit.. Elf guardian.. I forget what server though. got him to level 43. Played Eve for a short bit also.. But It was boring..... and basing power from time is the worst idea ever.

Well, I am going to have to disagree with you on the time based skill system. Frankly I think its the best idea ever. It prevents the whole problem of powerleveling and people that have too much time to play games. Everyone lvls at the same pace. The problem is with it is the implementation. The devs refused to implement a skill que, which would have been the saving grace of the feature. Second they sort of put a mandatory month of play time in there where you werent really skilling because you were skilling learning skills to learn other skills much faster. No body wants to play for a month without actually getting better at the game. (funnily enough, thats exactly what I did)
I personally loved not having to grind lvls so to speak. But to each his own I guess. I for one will not be caught dead playing WoW though :P

I was a hulk pilot in eve, and while i loved the skill system i completely agree that it was retarted not to have a queue for it. LOTRO i did not really like so much probably because by the time i tried it out the noob grounds were baren wastelands.
Anyone heard anything good about AoC?
