Dealer that sucks: MUNDAY MAZDA

I swear these people suck. I go in for service complaining that i feel lack of power and if they could please check the catalytic converter. I also tell them that my 2nd gear is grinding at a high rpm. Now they go by running a few tests on my rx8 and they go ahead and tell me that my rx8 has carbon build up in the engine(well no due geniuses, that freaking cat is clogged).

Now they go by seafoaming it and they go ahead and call it a day. They call me and tell me my car is fixed and don't even bother looking at the cat converter and their salesmen had multiple stories of why my car did or didn't have a compression test. I talked to the service manager and he himself couldn't help me. He said he couldn't read the results of the compression test and that it was running fine. Now about the transmission they tell me that their techs couldn't emulate the problem that i explained to them and then they tell me i don't know how to drive my own car when ive owned the damn thing since 04!

Since it was lunch time i was hungry and furious at how these people handle the situation. What's worst is i try and get the hell out of there immediately, they couldn't find my write up for what the cost would be. Talk about un-organized people. I have never had such a bad experience at mazda until now. Whats the world coming to when multiple salesmen lie to you about your cars results.

Im taking matters in to my own hands by installing a high flow midpipe and getting rid of that crappy clogged catalytic converter that i have. I only have 2 thumbs so ill give them 2 thumbs down, but believe me if i had more thumbs i would give them 5 thumbs down

btw: this is also in the good/bad guys thread

Dude that sucks, I bought mine at Jeff Haas! I know they're good because my sister bought a MAzda6 from them before I bought my 8, and they were happy to see us again haha. But yeah, I never liked Munday, because they can't spell Monday right jk. I hope everything turns out okay for you.

I've had a bad experience or two there myself, and thats where I purchased my car. I usually go to joe myers, the service rep kinda knows me. But I've never had a problem there, so I will keep going.
I hear jeff haas is good too, just never been there

Dude I dont care what people say. Best Mazda Hyundai have NEVER failed me yet! except that one time where they kinda messed up my car a bit from the recall but they fixed that and made it ever better! Now my car have been having transmission issues and my car is currently being repaired there under warranty and will be done monday! They have always showed me good respect and have always helped me carefully. I met this guy named Steve that works on the cars there and he have shown me that he is very concerned about customer satisfaction and I bet most of you can rely on Best Mazda Hyundai from now on. When my car comes back Monday, I'm going to write a better review for them once I get my car back Monday if its good as new but for now, 100 thumbs up for Best Mazda Hyundai. I know many of you have had problems with this dealership in the past but seriously, I think theyre awesome now

yeah man I feel your pain....bought mine in 04 from those cats. my first visit was to get the new flash, the new front pads out that replaced the old dust devil brake pads, and exhaustshield....no complaints, but my next visit was not so good. I suppose it had to do with the fact they loose good service managers and car techs.....just my opinion on that. later.

I agree, that dealership has gone to the dogs.

I Purchased a new '05 RX8, GT, 6speed for my wife from these people. My wife suffered a bad wrist injury to her right wrist and it became painful for her to drive the car especially shifting into reverse. I went to them to trade it in on a new CX9. We test drove one and they gave us a trade in value for the RX but would not give me a price on the CX for me to think over how much I wanted to put as a down payment. Sales manager said for the salesman to tell me to come back when I was serious about parking a Mazda in my driveway. This really got my goat as not only had I been parking one of their sales in my garage for the past 3 years but had also owned a '91 BRG Miata for 14 years.

Well he actually did me a favor because we drove around the block to the Subaru dealer and they were the most professional and customer caring dealership I have ever dealt with. We ended up buying an '08 Tribeca Limited that had a lot more standard features then the CX and even with the AWD it was a few thousand less than the Mazda.

Then to add insult to injury, I went to Munda a couple of days after purchasing the Subaru to cancel my GAP and extended warranty. The paperwork was filled out and I was told that it usually took 6 to 8 weeks to get the refunds. The GAP refund came in about 6 weeks later. Thirteen weeks later still no refund on the extended warranty. I went there in person and the receptionest told me that she had no idea who had filled out the paperwork because she could not read the name. Anyway I finally got to talk to the new finance manager and he told me a week later that the paperwork for the extended warranty was never sent out. So now I am told that I have to wait another 6 to 8 weeks for it.

In the three years that I have dealt with Munday the only consistant thing that I have seen is a big turnover of employees.
