Decarbed/ Seafoamed My WB today...

04 GT 6MT
111k miles
engine replaced at 50k miles

symptoms-rough idle and hesitation

after seafoam and plug change-smooth idle and no hesitation

When we did Adams (lordet) it was pretty crazy as well....everyone was like wtf is going on? haha. I think I am going to do mine as well.

anybody know of a local shop that would do this reasonably? I'm not much of a mechanic and don't want people calling the cops/fire department? Pref near fondren/westheimer

I may actually take you up on that. i get to Austin from time to time and would really just want someone whose done it to help me make sure I'm doing it right.

Thanks for the advice arnold, but knowing Houston cops, that might just be the worst of all solutions ;-)

^^ yeah bro let me know whats up. Just bring a bottle of:
-Your prefered oil
Also get the mazda stuff its a bit more expensive but it has a long clear tube that helps big time when fitting it on the side nipples.

Also the process takes about an hour and a half so maybe we can go get something to eat while we wait ??

^^^ Im sure you guys know this but make sure the engine is nice and hot before you shoot the seafoam in to help remove the most carbon

^^^ Yeah I like driving the car about 10 minutes before we go ahead and do the de carb.
thanks for pointing that out for anyone who might want to do the decarb themsevles and didnt know that.
