I went up their but didn't get their till like 30 min. before it shut down. I didn't read to see that it ended at 10pm. Another Mazda guy up their told me about another meet on Thursday's in Lewisville (he also told me about another forum that i cant remember the name of, he was wearing a shirt for it.) Is that the meet that's the "official meet?"

 

Our group doesn't have official regular meets. They happen when everyone is ready for a meet again. That being said, they usually happen on a Tuesday or a Thursday and are usually at flips in grapevine.

 

 

yes i know its in frankies bar in lewisville the guys are the dfwmazdas club they have an official meet every thursday i never been in one of their meet but i know because they told me about it and i been surf in their website.

i was there on monday night and only see 2 rx8 but its ok.
i hope next monday will be more.

i hope the ntxrotary club will have a meet soon.

 

dfwmazdas are are all a bunch of speed3 and speed6 owners. pretty much the only time they see an 8 is once every 6 months when i randomly show up to one of their meets

 

if i dont have to work that day next week lets go check it out ive never been to a ricekillers meet

What's a ricekillers meet?

 

The Ricekiller meet are Monday nights in Park and Midway (behind Cane's) but this Monday will be no meet as Memorial Day. Meet will be back on June, 7 6pm to 10pm.

So has there been any talk of trying to set up a weekly majority 7's and 8's meet?

 

There use to be one that met at 635 and MacArthur, but it turned into "if you have a vehicle with a motor in it" meet, populated by mostly idiots that drive the same way on the roads. A couple meets with them was all I could stand.

Well who would i need to talk to about maybe startin up an official NTXRotary meet? Cuzz i met like the main Texas rep for NOS Energy drink and he said if i could find out some info they would defiantly be down for sponsoring a meet. Like coming out and handin out free cans of NOS and stuff.

 

There's not really one person to talk to. We are just a group of guys that like to hang out and stuff. NTXRotary was just a way to name our group, there are no officers etc. Usually a meet happens when someone wants one and they post a date, time and place. Things are pretty laid back here.

 

Well then would you guys be apposed to tryin to start an official meet? Also i found out who to contact about maybe getting us an set few spots together at the Cup Cake meet to be able to park together if i know who alls going?
