We havent "met" in 2 weeks so I'm all set to get out there and have a good time.
Please post if you're interested in going. I'm giving a lot of notice here so I'm hoping for a larger crowd.
BTW: BJ's is a microbrewery and restaurant. You do not have to be 21 to show up. Anyone can go and anyone can have a good time. If you want some pretty good chicago style pizza, BJ's can accomodate (and I say it's pretty good seeing as I'm from chicago and I know chicago style pizza).
If you're going to be late, or you just happen to show up late, we're usually in the parking lot for 5-10 minutes or so after 7:30. Then we can be found in the bar.
Irish and I are almost always there, so if you look for a redheaded irishman with a beer in hand, you've probably spotted us.
If that's not enough, I'll even wear my 7stock 7 T-shirt this week just so all you new people can spot me. It's a white shirt with a bunch of rotaries on the back including the blue supercharged mazdaspeed 8.
Hope I dont forget that shirt, lol.

Argh! I'm traveling so much for work, i'll probably be able to make a meet in December at the rate I'm going. Nothing like the joy of riding around in a rental in another state to make me miss my 8!

Hi guys, I'm new to this forum and I have a couple questions. Does everyone meet every Thursday at BJ's in Addison or does the location/time/frequency change? I live in west Fort Worth and although I love long drives, getting to Addison and back on a week night is more like a road trip. As I have quickly become an RX-8 finatic, I'd love to meet some fellow RX-8 junkies. Do you guys know of any female members (other than me)?

You'll probably be better off going to the monthly RX-7 meeting -of which some of us attend. Those are held the first Saturday of every month. Casually, November will be the last meeting of '04.

And, no, you are not the only female member....we have Irish8 -if he dresses up for Halloween!! :D -

How many people have been showing up lately. I know the meeting I went to there was about 8 or so there. Hopefully I can get my car back on the road next week. What happened to the ROAD website?

 

We get a few here and there and yea we do usually meet on thursdays if people arent super busy. The ROAD site kinda got back burnered as my work life has had me too occupied to code when i get home, plus, i lost access to the site at some point and it started refusing my connections.

 

That sucks. Maybe everything will come back together.
