I talked to Jon from PTP yesterday.
He said they could get about 20 cars out in front of their shop.
If we plan to use their dyno, no more than that would be advisable.
I need to give him a headcount for those who want to go to PTP so I need a number on this thread.
Please post here if you're going AND if you want to dyno.
I need to know both numbers.
You have until friday to let me know.
EDIT: And yes, the dyno pulls are free!
So far we have:
Going:
Ajax
Dyno:

I don't want to rain on anyone's parade, but wouldn't the majority of the stock 8s get roughly the same numbers? It's nice of them to offer the free dyno, but I wouldn't want to take advantage of their hospitality too much. I would suggest dynoing the "modified" ones and maybe one that's stock. If you were to dyno everyone, then that could take most of the day. You could take those times to drive the back roads.
On a side note, our monthly meeting today got a surprise visit. The guys from Protech gave us a visit with their silver turbo 8. I have to say that's it's a very nice and clean setup. The install looks easier than Greddy's. I believe they made 325hp on low boost. They're wanting to reach 400hp though.

Or if you missed the exit, keep going and exit Braker Lane
Turn left on Braker
Turn left on N Lamar (going south on Lamar) - Stop light
Turn right on McPhault - you'll see a BMW motorcycle shop and Chuys restaurant.

Just to let you all know the PTP 8 was at the meet last night and it was pretty frickin' sweet, pretty crazy when you have about 7-8 8s (not counting all the 7s and the Lotus club on top of that) at ameet and 2 are already turbo! Anyway, they have a greddy exhaust on it currently and those tips are hugemongous, it had a really nice stance and it was actually pretty quiet considering all the work that's been done to it, we could barely hear the exhaust as it drove away, Adrian's was looking sweet too with his Greddy setup, now I just need to save up the $ and become the only auto with FI here in town lol :D www.texasrxs.org
